Oh boy, the temptation to skip this on challenging days is high. Funny that on the days I need it the most, I’m the most resistant. Here goes…

I appreciate:

• My sweet and supportive my family – especially on days when health struggles incapacitate me. Thank you for reminding me to be gentle…and for picking up the slack.
• Construction sounds. Something somewhere is getting built – or fixed!
• The telephone. I know, I know, it’s been around awhile. Still, it is a super cool thing to be able to talk to my cuz in Rochester without having to drive down there.

I appreciate:

• Spending the day with improvisers. What bright, funny, interesting people!
• Cough drops. Thank you for allowing me to see most of today’s shows without bothering other people!
• Warmer weather at last. The snow has finally melted!

I appreciate:

• The little kink in Luna’s tail. Even though she doesn’t have Siamese markings, I know it’s in her!
• Luna’s weird little hunting mews that alert me to the fact that she’s caught a mitten or sock for me…. Oh, great kitty huntress!
• My huntress namesake. Right now I am hunting for better thoughts and gentleness…

I appreciate:

• Snow. I know, I know, we all hate snow in May…but today, since I’m exhausted anyway, it makes me feel justified in staying in and working in my pjs. Cozy!
• Cimmy’s new spot for keeping me company in the office. Not only is it a comfy spot for kitty, but inside it holds stuff that’s leaving the house (store returns, gifts, borrowed stuff). Multi-functional!
• The continued sense of calm and well-being I have in my office. Still amazes me that this is possible!

I appreciate:

• That I finally chose my new logo! Updated website coming soon. 🙂
• Working with Rachel – room by room she is helping us de-clutter and revitalize our home!
• The lovely person or persons who sent us the Kowalski’s gift card. Whoever it was, thank you! Any night we can pick up food and not have to cook for ourselves is a gift! 🙂

I appreciate:

• That it rarely snows in May. Ahem.
• Remembering the delight the x-ray tech expressed over my purple nail polish on Monday. She was so excited, she pointed it out to another tech as we entered the room. Now every time I look at my nails, I smile.
• That my brain is so well-trained to look for and remember good stuff. Thank you, brain.

I appreciate:

• Baby steps in spring cleaning. Today I washed the windows in my office – inside and out! Holy crap were they dirty — and now they’re sparkly!
• Actually accomplishing most of what I set out to do today before collapsing. Huzzah!
• Bryan, for starting a wonderful appreciation thread on the Twin Cities Comedy Network page. What a fabulous idea!

I appreciate:

• Last night’s rain creating a clean canvas for more sidewalk chalking!
• Sleeping with the windows open. Heavenly.
• The possibility of a nap this afternoon. Makes me giddy.

I appreciate:

• Today’s improv hat trick: learning, watching, AND performing!
• The amazing friendships spawned by improv. So nice to see CSz friends for a few minutes!
• Sandal weather. Oh, yes!

I appreciate:

• Time with Miss R. Oh, so good for my heart.
• Many hands helping to make a clean(ish) house.
• Splendid Things’ final show. Brilliant!
