Starting to see some relief from the depression. How fortunate I am to have a solid support network of awesome friends and family — and meds to help when the non-pharmaceutical methods aren’t quite enough.Β  #onedayatatime

The promise of thunderstorms. I love stormy weather!

Appreciations 4.273-4.276

273. Our new tree! The city planted a Bur Oak on the boulevard. It will be so thrilling to watch it grow. πŸ™‚

The most exquisite smell of french lilacs. I know I look like a lunatic, stopping to stick my face in to smell them when I’m out walking around, but I don’t actually care. What a delicious aroma! Mmmmm.

Sunlit tulips and gardens.

274. Native plant sale and breakfast with Laura. What a fun start to the weekend! We learned a lot about how to prepare for a plant sale. Next time we’ll be ready with containers and cash! πŸ˜‰ Doesn’t seem to matter what we do, Laura and I always have fun. Breakfast at the Good Earth was delicious!

Astonishingly beautiful weather. I always fall back in love with Minnesota at this time of year!

Driving myself to Rindo’s party tonight. Didn’t stay long, but got to see a few beloved people before I left. Longest solo trip I’ve made in months. πŸ˜‰

275. Fabulous walk and breakfast with Kat and Cina to start the day. πŸ™‚

The excellent timing of things…like discovering the handle to the storm door was broken before leaving the house, thereby avoiding being locked out! (Thanks, Mckenzie, for fixing it!)

Raspberries and blueberries. Yum.

276. Fantastic Mastermind meeting today. I am so lucky to work with bright, funny, insightful people like Jerilyn and Amy!

native plantsMore progress on the walkway on the south side of the house. It feels so great to be making progress on projects like this that have been neglected for years. Today we got another bag of weeds cleared out and got all the new plants in the ground.

Brilliant chat with Alison today. My friends are the most interesting, sweet, fun people. I’m so lucky!

Being able to go for walks again. REAL walks – like all the way down to theΒ Β  Rose Gardens and back. Thank you, pacemaker, for helping my heart do its thing the right way!

The lacy not-yet-budding branches against the fading early spring light.

The adventure of taking photos with my phone, but not really being able to see what I’ve got in the frame (since I’m facing the sun), so having to wait until I get home to see what I got. πŸ™‚ I love that these trees look like they are holding hands.

The feeling of being impelled down the hill so quickly I almost have to jog to keep from falling. Being able to walk back UP the hill. Did I mention how much I like my heart and lungs and muscles all doing what I need? So good.

The goofy unlikeliness of looking down at just the right moment during my walk to spot Katie’s Earth First button and pick it up – not even knowing it was hers or that she’d lost it. Silly.

Silliness.
