Appreciations 4.255

Feeling tired … from a WALK this time! I’m tired most of the time, but today it’s at least in part because I got such a long, wonderful walk in yesterday. 🙂 Makes me feel alive again. ❤ Yesterday was my first 10,000 step day in months. I know I won’t be able to do that every day, but if I can even manage it once a week, that will be delightful! 😀

Springtime smells! From yesterday’s walk with Sarah, the smell of new-mown grass and freshly cut wood (from a new fence), and from today’s walk flowering trees, backyard fires, and people grilling dinner. Mmmmm.

Starting to assimilate all that’s happened and adjust to the new normal – at least a little bit! Moments of feeling like myself again. Walking a mile all by myself. Progress!

The smell of the trees in flower right now. So delicate and sweet!

Doing errands with Dave this morning. I’m so lucky to have friends who are so much fun to be with and who are willing to be part of my chauffeur brigade until I’m able to drive again. 🙂

A lovely evening with wonderful people! So great to see you all!! ❤ ❤ ❤

Heart sidewalkKatie and Cina, who brought me a Glam Doll donut this morning! I pretended it didn’t contain gluten! It was delicious!

Weather warm enough to have the windows open and listen to the day’s sunny sounds.

After a rough start to the day (dizzy and lots of feelings about the dizzies and the heart and the everything), managing to get out this evening and walk all the way around the block! And then sidewalk chalking my little heart out as the sun set.

Appreciations Year Three: Day 248

rainbow_umbrella_by_sanguinarabbita-d3atdn9The couple I saw yesterday who were both carrying rainbow colored umbrellas. The couple I saw much later yesterday who, when walking across the street in front of me, stopped to jump in a big puddle. Way to enjoy the rain, people! 🙂

My funny little brain for thinking that because it is Saturday, I now have super human powers and can accomplish 8 hours of work, 8 hours of errands, 8 hours of projects, 8 hours of housework, and 8 hours of friend time ALL IN ONE DAY. 😀

The green green greening of things in spring.

Clean floors, cabins, traveling, Google image search tools, bells, wells, words with two l’s, e e cummings, Georgia O’Keeffe, Brene Brown.

Spring flowering tree 2015Mckenzie’s so-far, so-good recovery!

Gorgeous weather for a walk.

This beautiful flowering tree. So pretty and it smells amazing!

The empty plastic bag I found caught on a twig at the beginning of my walk. So helpful. I keep meaning to bring one on my walks to pick up trash as I go, but I keep forgetting. Thanks, wind. Thanks, tree. 😉

Looking forward to another round of JimmyD classes starting tonight! 😀
