The strange feeling of a run of days during which my sunny feels funny. 😉 I used to get pretty fussed about things pretty often and don’t so much these days. And to be clear, I’m not really fussed about things – or even about these moody days – just noticing it and feeling curious.

Two thoughts spring immediately to mind. One, I am more prone to my sparkle going darkle when I am tired and feeling unwell. Sleep is a bigger deal mood-wise than it was when my health was excellent. That is a good thing to know because I do have some means of adjusting that. The second thing I notice is how lovely it is that having a couple down days in a row is now a noteworthy event. There was a time when it would have been somewhat unremarkable. No more. I call that lucky! 😀

A rare encounter with an audibly purring Toby. Cuddle cats are good!

Holiday to do listThis sweet holiday check list, sent to me a while back by one of my beautiful clients. I love it!

Enjoying a few quiet moments this morning when both cats were sleeping on the bed with me. Maybe pretty soon they’ll be back to sharing that space without fighting. (They used to both sleep with me, but some weird territory thing happened when I was in the hospital last year and since then they’ve only fought on the bed.)

Peppermint tea.

Wonderful meetings with clients. I know I say this all the time, but I really do work with the most delightful, inspiring, funny, sweet, adorable, brilliant people on the planet. I’m so lucky to know them!

Sweet, misty, sleepy morning. I like this time of changing weather!

My wonderful, inspiring clients. I was a little fuzzy today, not sure how much work I’d accomplish after another not-so-sleep-filled night, but after researching reasons that giving is good for our health for one newsletter, and reading and finding images for another truly beautiful newsletter/blog, I find I have more energy now than I did when I got up this morning.

Ellen Swanson’s energy, passion, gentleness, and wonderful work. Every single interaction I have with her makes me smile. Yes, even our business as usual emails about getting things done. I am so lucky to get to work with her. I can’t recommend her work highly enough. You can read her thoughtful and thought-provoking blog here: healingthehierarchy.com/blog/ (and you can learn about and buy her book, Heart, Gut, Head: Creating a Healthier Hierarchy.) If you like it, please share it with others. It is changing my world!
