Seeing Michael Bruckmueller and Jill Bernard in a fabulous ComedySportz show with my classmates last night!
My funny, sweet, brilliant, generous, insightful, beautiful, and now 21-year old(!) daughter, Katie. ♥

Year 1, Day 34: improv show, fun breakfast, fun brunch

I appreciate:

Yesterday’s fantastic show at Comedy Sportz – brilliant!
Today’s hilarious and fun family breakfast with my brothers and our families. The idea of Jeff in that t-shirt…..Oh hahahaha!
My delightful late-morning brunch with T & R — plus Katie! Oh, so good for my heart. (Plus, Terri makes THE BEST gluten-free pancakes ever!) Wow!

I appreciate:

The most wonderful Friday evening, spent with Terri and Ruby (who calls me Aunt Dinana. I love that!)
A magnificent Saturday morning, hanging out with the family, doing nothing in particular.
A spectacular Saturday class at ComedySportz Twin Cities

Today I appreciate:

The chance to play with the big kids tonight in the Nightmare Video Project at Huge Theater
Naps. They’re great when you’re a kid, and great when you’re, um, older than that.
Freshly laundered pillow cases. (See item 2) 😛

Today I appreciate :

Learning that one of my improv classmates can only turn her hand 90º – just like my brother (not a very common problem.)
Talking to 2 people from completely different parts of my life (improv classmate and friend from high school) and learning that they are both getting their motorcycle licenses this week — but DON’T have a motorcycle. 🙂
Learning that my improv instructor, Michael Bruckmueller, not only knows, but has done improv with TWO of my double-first cousins from Duluth!

I appreciate:

Comedy Sportz – level 3 class yesterday was so great!
The ice pack which helps my back feel better
My slippers which keep me warm while I’m sitting with the ice pack on my back!! ;^)

I am grateful for:

Finishing the painting in time for Mckenzie & me to see Show X at Huge!
Pat’s willingness to clean up all the brushes etc from today’s project.
The awesome sense of satisfaction from completing a project that’s been on my to-do list for 12 years!
Mckenzie’s help with the painting- and his excellent music selections while we worked. 🙂
