Appreciations Year Three: Day 206

A wonderful morning with the Delaney girls followed by an excellent afternoon of make-em-ups, the duo edition, with Alison and Community Ed and Squash Banana. Yay!

Sunshine and blue skies….AGAIN!

Numbers and letters and songs and red and new ideas.

Appreciations Year Three: Day 200

Alison’s sweet tolerance of a duo partner who sleeps through her alarm and arrives late for warm-ups… 😛

Spending time with Sarah and Miss Ida. It had been WAY too long!

Weather warm enough for my first walk to the lake… with NO hat….and NO mittens. Even had to take my jacket off on the way home. Woohoo!

Appreciations Year Three: Day 199

Cow socksCrystal treeWarm and fuzzy socks Debb sent me. Is it wrong that my first instinct is to get the sharpies back out and color these, too?? 😉

The beautiful tree pattern my crystal made as the light came through the window.

The amazingly beautiful weather today — AND in the forecast.

Super fun rehearsal with Alison this morning for our debut duo show tomorrow. Hooray!

The utter joy of hanging out with the Delaney girls this afternoon. What an amazing treat. How smart that we already put a date for next week on the calendar! 🙂

Appreciations Year Three: Day 164

The terrific progress we are making at my folks house! Today we got through the entire upstairs hall closet — all organized, sorted, and packed!

Amazon Prime and this week’s choice, Lark Rise to Candleford, for some much needed veg time.

The amazing people who had the idea for HUGE theater, made that dream a reality, and who continue to work so hard to improve and expand this home-away-from home, this welcoming and loving community, this creative place where so many of us stretch and grow and dream our own dreams and thrive. Congratulations, HUGE Theater, and a profound thank you to all of you help keep it alive. ❤

Rufus.

Appreciations Year Three: Day 154

Meeting with career coaches and feeling like this find-another-job thing is doable! 🙂

Finding things… like the google spreadsheet I found whilst clearing out old google files the other day — it lists the states of the car license plates we saw on our Colorado road trip in 2011. Mckenzie and I just saw a Hawaii plate the other day and I wondered where the list I’d made was (we only have 6 more states to go!), assuming I’d tossed it. But no. Geeky McSmartypants (that’s me!) made a SPREADSHEET for it. Hahaha! Also, I thought I lost my favoritest favorite ring after class tonight, but then I found it by the door. Yay!

The completely awesome class today – lots of people with experience ranging from 2 days to 4 years of improv, all of whom were so engaged and fun to work with. So much fun!

Appreciations Year Three: Day 153

The soundtrack from Wicked. Yummy.

Looking forward to teaching “Getting in Cahoots” at HUGE tomorrow. I love love love teaching drop-in classes!

The absurdity of being so happy, all these months later, when I opened the bedroom door with its new(ish) handle and remembered the supreme thrill of whacking the heck out of the old broken one and replacing it.

Appreciations Year Three: Day 144

Writing this post at 11:11 on 1/11.  Yup, that is super pleasing!

Bringing 7 bags of books to Half Price books… both for the sense of accomplishment about reducing clutter and for the fun of browsing in the bookstore — and scoring a 50¢ copy of A Swiftly Tilting Planet.

Brilliant workshop at Huge with  talented & engaged fellow students — and freaking awesome teachers! So much good stuff. Can’t wait to try out some of these tools!

Dinner with Danny and Alison. What a fun night!
