Froggy BoogieWonderful impromptu visit with Terri and Ruby. I learned how to play Froggy Boogie! 🙂

Balmy weather. So fun to go out without a hat!

Super fun time playing pretend with Sarah tonight! My favorite part was the new story: Jo and the Cornbread of Summerhill. What fun! 😀

Appreciations 4.24

Fabulous morning with Debb! How great to get to see my cuz 2 days in a row! Delicious breakfast (yes, I got to have gluten free pancakes. In a restaurant!) and thrill-filled shopping trip to Goodwill. Who knew Roseville could be so fun?! 😛

Diana and the Pez KermitThis most flattering photo of me and my pal, Kermie, the giant pez dispenser. 😀

Excellent afternoon full of productive time – including FINALLY getting my office back in order. Phew!

I was planning to work all evening, but fortunately, my good friend Danny was looking out for me and said we should go to IAGG tonight. So great to see him again — and then what an awesome show! MJ and Andy cross-wove their butts off in a brilliantly intertwined narrative with beautiful choices, stunning metaphors, and mind-boggling call-backs, Butch’s tech work rocked my socks in every set, and Michael and Jeff’s angel-ghosts, machete work, and just plain great improv rounded out a truly terrific show. So good!

Appreciations Year Three: Day 314

My “fidget ring” that Kari gave me years ago. I like that it fits on both thumbs and middle fingers – so many options for moving it from hand to hand. It has helped me sit through lots of meetings and other sit-still events! 😉

Perfect timing that meant the dog did NOT run all the way out into the street and in front of my car and the car behind me was far enough back that it did NOT hit me. How nice to just continue driving around the lake with nothing to report!

Guess what?! More beautiful weather. What a wonderful summer we are having! 😀

IMG_3075Short, but sweet walk with Katie….ahahaha – the other short, but sweet girl in my house. 😛

Nice evening out with the musical improv group, comparing notes on musical improv we saw at TCIF and just socializing for a change.

Sitting by the open window, finishing up some work and looking out at the big, beautiful moon.

Appreciations Year Three: Day 311

Beautiful, beautiful weather. This gorgeous spell of weather is rocking my world!

Getting to see another completely amazing TCIF show. The Girls, Girls, Girls improvised musical was truly phenomenal. So much of what I love about improv all in one 3-person show! Thanks for inviting me, Alison!!

Doing late night errands with my kids. It amazes me how much fun we can have going buying groceries and going to the laundromat. And how fun to shop in ghost-town late night places. 😉

Pride rainbow on the admin page of my WP site. I love it!

Appreciations Year Three: Day 308

First co-working session with Amy and Alison. It was so nice to get work done — and to see actual people during work hours! 😀

Amazing first night of TCIF. People made such great choices, and there was so much good yes and-ing, supporting, playing. Wonderful! If you don’t have your tickets for the remaining nights yet, you’ll want to get them before they sell out! twincitiesimprovfestival.wordpress.com.

Hanging out after the show for a bit and catching up with lovely people. I haven’t been able to be around the HUGE much lately, so it was delicious to have the chance to see everyone. ❤ ❤ ❤

Appreciations Year Three: Day 272

Lisa, for getting me the awesome teaching gig, and for making the whole process such a delight from start to finish! And for the super fun talk we had afterward. What a fascinating, funny, fabulous lady! ❤

The terrific people who came to the workshops today – especially those who were nervous and unsure, but who jumped right in there anyway. Way to go, you brave souls! What a fun day!

PRETTY FLOWERSThese pretty flowers, whatever they are. Every time I pass them, they look bigger and more friendly! 🙂

Drinking glasses – especially colored ones, vision-correcting glasses (which make it possible for me to see what I am typing RIGHT NOW), sunglasses, glassware, glassy-smooth lakes, pizza.

Appreciations Year Three: Day 271

The heady scent of the lilacs I cut from our bush and put on a vase on my desk.

Getting promoted to “moderately anemic” due to my improving numbers.  Yay!

Learning that getting out of the anemia zone will also help my heart function — so maybe I can get that EF back up over 25%.  Wouldn’t that be amazing!!!!

The fun challenge of putting together an improv workshop with a very specific goal and intended for non-improvisers…and only 50 minutes long. 🙂 What a fun and interesting task!

Secret passages, dead ends that let you know it is time to turn around and look for something different, labyrinth walks, cuckoo clocks, TED talks.

Appreciations Year Three: Day 269

Diana's cardDrawing party with David and the Duncan girls. What fun!

Really good improv time with the Haha ladies. 😉

Finding misplaced things.

Funny people, fresh produce, fancy plans, faraway places, figgy pudding. Okay, I’ve never actually tried figgy pudding, but it fits the pattern. And I’d probably like it.

Appreciations Year Three: Day 267

Trying new things.

A wonderful, if brief, visit with the Duncan girls. Fills my little heart right up with love. ❤

Another fabulously fun JimmyD experience. Nothing like an evening of make-em-ups, adult beverages and comestibles, and comedy – because despite what JimmyD tells us, we are funny.

Lilacs, lip balm, linguistics, laughing, lurking, larks.
