Appreciations Year Three: Day 329

Coffee coffee coffee for an unusually early morning. 🙂

Robert and the other friendly staff and whose wry humor put us at ease and had us laughing in the various waiting rooms at the hospital today.

Good news on Dad’s thyroid tests — nothing to biopsy. Hooray!

Going to bed at 8 pm if that’s what’s needed. I guess the last couple weeks are catching up with me. Hahaha! Nightynight.

Appreciations Year Three: Day 226

Shannon and the other wonderful staff at UMP Heart. I love working with personable, funny people who care about my comfort during procedures and make them feel so easy!

Perfect cup of coffee with coconut creamer. Sweet, but not too sweet. The perfect temperature.

Cozy! Working from home in pjs and slippers on a cool, gray morning.

Looking forward to lunch with Danny!

Weekends, musicals, stamps, honey bees (and honey!), beeswax candles, rose quartz, magic.

Appreciations Year Three: Day 187

Crazy perfect timing. The furnace repair appointment got pushed back, but the meeting I had that would have kept me from being present ALSO got pushed back — so the furnace repair happened right after I got back from meeting #1 and and was completed just in time for me to make meeting #2. Perfection!

Helpful people like my awesome career counselor (yes, I need help after being out of the “real” job market for more than 2 decades!) and the super helpful furnace tech who came out and fixed the furnace so quickly!

Service Plus, which meant I didn’t have to PAY for that $900 repair. Whew!

My wonderful clients who make my work interesting and fun.

Cheryl and Jenna who wrote a song with me some 3 years ago, which, whenever it shows up on my iTunes playlist fills me with giddiness and glee. ❤

Year 1, Day 70: healthy parents, helpful staff, winter wrestling

I am so grateful for:

  1. My parents’ good health. I enjoy them so much!
  2. The Alzheimer’s Association — especially their 24/7 helpline (1-800-272-3900), whose understanding, well-informed, caring staff are a true gift.
  3. The sudden memory (stirred up by a crossword clue) of Ivan Raconteur and Brian watching pro wrestling, then deciding it looked fun and taking their own version of a match outside…in the middle of the winter. Hahahaha! What a vision. 🙂
