Year 1, Day 66: festivals, cool stuff, almost-cheese-like-substance

I appreciate:

Living in a city that has a Fringe Festival, an Improv Festival AND the Twin Cities Horror Festival! Thank you, Minneapolis.
Looking forward to seeing Bump in the Night and Ghost Force. Thank you, Erin Sheppard, for doing cool stuff – and letting me know about it!
Daiya dairy-free, soy-free cheese. I know you’re not real cheese, but you are a pretty nice imitation. 😛

Year 1, Day 65: inspiring students, beautiful people, mobility

I appreciate:

The high school student visiting our improv class last night (doing a project on sub-cultures) for providing material for our armando
All the beautiful, brilliant people I know, like Coyote Grace, who are providing this morning’s soundtrack for my life. ♥
Arms and legs all in good working order. Mobility is a truly wonderful thing!

Year 1, Day 64: rain, carefulness, soup?

I appreciate:

Waking up to the sound of pouring rain at 6 am….wasn’t so sure about the 6 am part, but lying in bed listening to October rain is a cozy treat. 🙂
Our newspaper carrier’s careful tying of the plastic bag around the paper so it wouldn’t get wet.
Today’s perfect soup-making weather. Maybe today’s the day I actually do it. Hahaha!

I appreciate:

Waking up anxious and crabby and experiencing that magic of actively changing my thoughts.
That Flight of the Conchords video which helped immensely in that process

Year 1, Day 62: Katie, improv day, quiet Sunday

I appreciate:

Talking with my amazing kid, Katie Korpi, yesterday. Nothing special, I just love her. ♥
A most wondrous day of improv yesterday: Class at CS, drinks with classmates then back to CS for show, then over to Huge with Elissa for 10:30 show. Awesome!

Year 1, Day 61: foggy haze, sunlight, feeling of accomplishment

I appreciate:

The foggy haze that hung over the falling leaves this morning. Thanks for making my morning coffee feel so cozy.
The sunlight filtering through the trees this afternoon. Thanks for the energy boost!
The sense of accomplishment achieved after getting all my errands done — with time enough to watch more of A Midsummer Night’s Dream before class.

You canker-blossom! A most excellent insult!

Year 1, Day 60: improv people, rehearsal, Timmy

I appreciate:

The vibrant, lovely, funny people I’m getting to know through my improv groups.
Last night’s hilarious rehearsal with Erin Kennedy, Anthony James and Karen Baker. Is it legal to laugh that much?
My friend, Timmy Riordan, for being the adventurous, witty, charming man he is — and for our great conversation this morning! 🙂

Year 1, Day 58: my mom, gorgeous leaves, talented friends

I appreciate:

Getting to spend time with my most awesome mom, Carol, this morning!
The gorgeous leaves that threw themselves in my path, brightening my walk today.
Knowing so many delightful and talented people — and the myriad opportunities to see them shine! (M4W Improv, PAM, Twin Cities Horror Festival to name just a few!)
