Appreciations Year Three: Day 291

Relief from crazy allergy symptoms – I can see again! 😉

The delicious smell of the peonies Alison brought me the other day. Sweet friend, sweet flowers! 🙂

Overdue and lovely visit with David.

Lightning in the distance lighting up layers of dark clouds. Stunning. Going to sleep before midnight. Probably! 😛

Appreciations Year Three: Day 289

First being serenaded by and then enjoying a wonderful lunch with my sweet and funny and fascinating friend Alison. ❤

The wondrous things people create — so many delicious kinds of art for us to experience.

All the colors of purple. 🙂

Appreciations Year Three: Day 287

screen-captureLast month’s purply-bluesy appreciation spreadsheet. 😉

Thundery rainy fun day.

My fun job. I get to learn new stuff all the time, teach people stuff, help people reach their goals, and meet the coolest people. More fun client meetings today!

Curly hair, stamps, cinnamon, ducks, herons, heroines, camp fires, rivers, bacon, art.

Appreciations Year Three: Day 286

Reconnecting with JohnnyLinn. What a lovely conversation with a lovely man. ❤

Already knowing my way around Abbott NW, which made today easier! 😉

The talented and friendly people who made today go so smoothly for my folks.

My little blue car. How I love how it gets me where I want to go so nicely.

More gorrrrrrrrrrrgeous weather.

Fun multisyllabic words like widdershins, kattywumpus, tickety-boo, kitty-corner, whirlygig, scattershot. What are some of your favorites?

Appreciations Year Three: Day 285

Re-connecting with Melinda today. I like the lovely people in my life! 🙂

Finishing invoices on the first day of the month. Very likely the only time this has happened in the past 8 or 9 years… 😛

Completely gorgeous weather — again!

Pam’s fun categorical appreciations lately. So much fun!

Filigree, curlicues, swirls, swishes, spirals, curls, twirls, curves, loops, swoops, gyres.

Appreciations Year Three: Day 283

This story of a dog learning to ride a bicycle and his human who clearly loves him.

Clean laundry, and living room, and kitchen, oh my!

Sunny sunny sunshine and a sweet little walk around the neighborhood with Katie with a bonus of the last of the french lilacs’ scent wafting through the air.

IMG_3032Rorschach clouds by Katie. 🙂

Receiving fun phone messages, planning plans, going with the flow, changing course, doodling, breathing.

Appreciations Year Three: Day 282

11012062_825740414172145_5803556339232214410_nDiscovering Gravity Glue. These awe-inspiring and beautiful sculptures and photos by Michael Grab fill me with a sense of wonder and peace. Now that is a kind of meditation I could totally get into!

Getting to work with people I really, really like and support them in work that I think is super cool. What a good job!

My kids. I love listening to their goofy banter, hanging out with them, knowing them. I am so lucky. ❤

The guy directing traffic in the liquor store parking lot who was dressed up in pantaloons and a plumed hat, and did awesome fancy-dancy moves to direct the cars. Stones, rainbow shoelaces, synchronicities, Schenectady (it is just so fun to say!), peppermint.

Appreciations Year Three: Day 281

Wonderful conversation with sweet Timmy. How I love having friends like Timmy who are on a sometimes parallel-ish journey and with whom it is so easy to reconnect no matter how many days-weeks-months it has been since our last conversation. ❤ ❤ ❤

Doing things that scare and excite me. What a cool adventure this whole life thing is.

My continually evolving relationship with acceptance, good-enough, should, imperfection, mistakes, shame, grace, joy. I love the little part of my brain that thinks at some point I will “get it right”! Oh, brain, you are so funny!

Appreciations Year Three: Day 280

Kent and LALA, who are silly and lovely and sweet and who make me smile and laugh on a regular basis. ❤

My JimmyD friends who make me laugh out loud even when I don’t get to see them in person.

Smarter Every Day and Mental Floss videos. What a good way to spend the evening. (Not as good as improv class, but more restful at least. You’re welcome, immune system.)

Goofy cat antics, attics, attachments, parchment, getting lost in thoughts, flocks of sheep, badminton.
