Year 1, Day 91: numbers, caffeine, !!!! :), and ♥

I appreciate:

  1. That day 91 (well, 91.25, so depending on whether we’re using the 24-hour day starting at midnight or my real day which started at about 6:45, either 6 am or 12:45 pm…) represents the first quarter year of posting daily appreciation on FB. Yay gratitude! Yay numbers! Yay geekiness!
  2. Caffeine. Can you tell who’s had more than her usual dose this morning?!?? 😛 Yay caffeine!
  3. Exclamation points and smiley faces!!! 🙂
  4. Last night with little Miss R. So much fun to spend time with her. Fills my heart right up! ♥ ♥ ♥

Year 1, Day 34: improv show, fun breakfast, fun brunch

I appreciate:

  1. Yesterday’s fantastic show at Comedy Sportz – brilliant!
  2. Today’s hilarious and fun family breakfast with my brothers and our families. The idea of Jeff in that t-shirt…..Oh hahahaha!
  3. My delightful late-morning brunch with T & R — plus Katie! Oh, so good for my heart. (Plus, Terri makes THE BEST gluten-free pancakes ever!) Wow!

Year 1, Day 21: Huge Theater, Uniquely Attainable, rose quartz

I appreciate:

  1. Huge Improv’s awesome Splendid Things on Saturday, what will surely be an amazing Show X tonight and 401 class starting Tuesday. Can’t wait!
  2. Uniquely Attainable which happened to be parked in my neighborhood yesterday. Scored a great find for Katie’s birthday in just a couple minutes. Coolest shopping ever!
  3. Rose quartz in all forms, but especially the chunks lying around my house – including the candle holder. What a nice energy that stone has! 🙂

Year 1, Day 19: orange things

I appreciate orange things:

  1. Delicious cantaloupe for breakfast.
  2. The color of the tulips in Katie’s stunning photos (plus I appreciate Katie!)
  3. More wonderful orange food for dinner – carrots and sweet potatoes. I bet I got enough beta carotene today.

Year 1, Day 12: purple chairs, David, GracieDog

I appreciate:

1. More purple furniture! Garage sale chairs we recovered ourselves. (I actually appreciate the green ones, too. And the memory of us each picking out our own fabric to use. And the fun of doing the project together….)
2. My friend David who makes me laugh and continually teaches me new coding tricks.
3. Our poor old GracieDog who, though she whines a lot now because she’s senile and confused, is a very sweet dog.

Year 1, Day 2: RMSS memories, sleep, missing Katie

1. Grateful for RMSS memories floating around me and infusing my day with random happy thoughts (like watching the meteor blaze across the sky while listening to music at Camp Waylay and like Bethel Steele sandwich hugs that left me breathless with laughter and love).
2. I so appreciate my soft bed, freshly laundered sheets (thank you, dear) and the luxury of sleeping 10 hours!!
3. I appreciate loving Katie Korpi so much that despite having spent 12 straight days with her, I already miss her now that she’s back at school! ♥

Year 1, Day 1: friends, leaves, my kids

1.    I am grateful for friends like Ellis, Terri, Timmy, John, and so many others who are working to cultivate gratitude and happiness…and do so enthusiastically and publicly!
2.    I appreciate all the gorgeous green leaves on the trees outside my window, with hints of blue sky peeking through
3.    I appreciate the gift of sharing my Song School experience with my amazing, brilliant daughter — and the gift of spending time with my amazing, fascinating son at HUGE theater, yesterday (okay, that’s 2, but who’s counting??)
