Terrific Tuesday Dream

It’s actually not so bad to wake up several hours earlier than usual when you wake up from an entertaining dream like I did this morning! πŸ˜„

My Terrific Tuesday Dream

The kids and I crash land our airplane/spaceship βœˆοΈπŸš€into the side of a deserted, snow-covered ❄️❄️❄️mountain. We are certain we are doomed, but begin to climb to the summit anyway.

When we get to the top, we realize that we’ve landed on an enormous sledding hill. People all around us are sledding down the mountain using a variety of sled-type items.

We each choose a “sled” and start down the mountain πŸ”. About halfway down, the mountain turns into a giant indoor Olympic bobsled course that allows us to bank up on the walls and do tricks (like looping back up the mountain to pick up our kitten who has become frightened).

On the way back up the mountain, we take time to do a little kitten shopping and each choose our own kitten 🐱 (we shared one on the way down somehow). I choose an all-black kitten who is adventurous – but not reckless.

On our second time down the mountain, the course turns into a place to test drive Hondas πŸš—. It is a frantic, fun, and fast trip down the mountain in my new car…

Appreciations 4.202 – Fun

Waking up after a delightful dream in which Pam and I were shopping at someone’s moving sale (in their house) and finding all sorts hidden treasures in nooks and crannies like beautiful tapestries and clever and funny cat toys and books we’d always wanted to read but had never been able to find. SO much fun in the dream, and so like spending time with Pam – always seeking and finding hidden beauty, fun, and joy! πŸ’—

Qigong. It’s not yet a daily habit, but I’m getting better about remembering to do it and am still astonished by how profoundly even one session improves my sleep. Wowsers.

FunLooking forward to fun plans this weekend, planning new fun plans, and listening to all the fun new books I just reserved. πŸ˜€

Appreciations 4.28

Last year on this day, I appreciated a goofy dream…and now I am RE-appreciating it. Hahahaha! (Here’s a bit of the post from last year: Waking up giggling from a screwball comedy dream about returning defective sofas! We were standing out in the rain with our burgundy leather sofa, and the Katharine Hepburn-like character said, “Defective!??! But it rains HARD on sofas!” The Cary Grant-like character (me) said, “Yes, but they are not expected to give up little pieces of themselves in surrender to that rain,” which settled the matter! I love the image of the characters standing under the street light with the rain pouring down on them… and their sofa.Β  Hahahahaha!)

Headaches that very kindly wait until the “must do today” work is done, respond to tylenol enough to allow me to go out with my friends, and send me to bed for a night of catch-up sleep before 10 pm. πŸ˜‰

Spending time with people I adore at our little happy hour tonight. Oh, just so so good! ❀

Year 1, Day 110: a bit of bitwordy

I appreciate:

  1. My Bitwordy friends! It’s been interesting to meet these amazing people from all over the world. Not only are they word-geeks like me πŸ™‚ But they are super smart, funny, and sweet!
  2. My dream this morning in which I was playing Bitwordy and found optic, myopic, biopic, topic, and tropic and was super happy. So fun to be a geek! LOL.
  3. All the goofy holiday avatars my Bitwordy friends are using right now. β™₯
