Appreciations Year Three: Day 159
Oh, the glorious sunshine and warm weather this morning. Made the walk up to the coffee shop feel beautifully spring-like!
Delicious Americano to keep my hands warm on the way back home. 🙂

Year 1, Day 96: rest and coffee, warmth and abundance, kids
I appreciate:
- The nighttime cold medication that helped me sleep last night. 😛
- The coffee that’s helping me stay awake now. 😉
- Having a warm house, warm clothes, and pretty much all anyone could need.
- I know I already appreciated this, but I’m still loving having both kids home! ♥
Year 1, Day 68: appreciating appreciation, cats, coffee
I appreciate:
- The habit of appreciation, which, despite a good bit of chaos, has my brain searching for what is good about today
- Both of my beautiful cats for helping me feel centered and calm
- Coffee. Coffee!! Oh, yes, I have an acute appreciation for coffee.
Year 1, Day 62: Katie, improv day, quiet Sunday
I appreciate:
- Talking with my amazing kid, Katie Korpi, yesterday. Nothing special, I just love her. ♥
- A most wondrous day of improv yesterday: Class at CS, drinks with classmates then back to CS for show, then over to Huge with Elissa for 10:30 show. Awesome!
- Sunday morning coffee-newspaper-clock-ticking quietude.
Year 1, Day 49: turtle mochas, coffee shop pay-it-forward, happy looks
I appreciate:
- The decadence of a turtle mocha. It’s like candy — with espresso!
- Wherever I first heard the idea of people leaving extra money at a coffee shop to buy the drinks of the next people in line
- The happy and shocked look on the face of the barista to whom we gave a $10 tip — and money for the next customers’ drinks. So. Much. Fun! 🙂
Year 1, Day 9: Sara, perfect timing, office space
1. I am soooo grateful for Sara who is not only the very best assistant/colleague a girl could ask for, but is also brilliant, funny and adorable. I am thrilled to count her among my dear friends!
2. I appreciate the beautiful way things work out. With no prior discussion, I showed up at work with 2 coffees, and Sara showed up with a delicious gluten-free muffin and locally-grown raspberries to share. Perfection!
3. I appreciate my new office space downtown. The ideal location and set-up for me and my businesses. 🙂
Year 1, Day 4: coffee genius, rocks, glasses
1. I am so grateful to the genius minds that figured out that roasting coffee beans and pouring hot water over them would yield the most delicious, invigorating brew… Yum.
2. I appreciate the beautiful things in my office: Georgia O’Keeffe calendar, Muppets poster, paintings & photos by various family members, talismans from traveling friends, rocks of all shapes and colors.
3. I appreciate my glasses – without which I couldn’t read anything!
