Appreciations Year Three: Day 167

Coffee with honey. Delicious!

Pam’s brilliant naming game which fills me up to the tippy tippy top with glee. My secret name of the day is Annalise Tiptoe Waltzington. πŸ™‚

Snoring cats. What a funny sound!

Appreciations Year Three: Day 161

Heated home, car, everywhere I had to go today. Even though it’s “warm” (34ΒΊ) I am chilled to the bone today. Makes it easy to appreciate all the warm places I go!

Carrots.

no closet spaceMy yin and yang kitties – opposite in so many ways. Luna, the expert lap kitty, is such a timid jumper and Toby, the expert jumper (for reals — somehow he jumped up on top of boxes on the top of my closet the other day!), really doesn’t understand about sitting down and purring for any length of time. A cat for every occasion. πŸ˜‰

Appreciations Year Three: Day 150

Awesome visit with Sarah and Ida. Oh, the giggles and smiles and drooling! (the latter was Ida, not Sarah and me…) What an amazing joy!

Crashing out early (remember that 2 am thing?)

Year 1, Day 43: cat company, purring, Siamese cats

I appreciate cats! I love:

  1. The way they sense when I’m feeling unwell or sad and saunter over for some petting — as if I’m doing them a favor, when really they’re offering ME comfort.
  2. Purring! I love the immediate sense of calm and comfort it evokes in me.
  3. The little kink in the end of Siamese cats’ tails. Luna has this trait. So did my first cat, Felix. πŸ™‚

Year 1, Day 3: purring, GF bread, flexible job

  1. Grateful for Cimmy and her purr-purr-purring way of waking me up.
  2. Grateful for Udi gluten-free bread and a quick easy breakfast!
  3. I appreciate my flexible job which allows me to work from home or at the office depending on how I feel. Today I’m at home — mere footsteps away from a nap if I should need it! πŸ™‚
