Snow! So pretty – and light enough that I could do the shoveling without needing too much rest afterward. I appreciate that even though my heart is pretty wonky, I’m still able to do most of the things I want and need to do. Don’t ask me to run up a bunch of stairs really fast, though. 😛

So fun to watch the livestream of Ellis performing on APHC today. She was amazing! 😀

Little kitty miracles… like both cats sleeping on me at the same time.

Little photographic miracles, like me managing to hold the phone far enough away to capture the little kitty miracles. 😉

Kitty socks!! Thanks, Debb! kitty socks

The strange feeling of a run of days during which my sunny feels funny. 😉 I used to get pretty fussed about things pretty often and don’t so much these days. And to be clear, I’m not really fussed about things – or even about these moody days – just noticing it and feeling curious.

Two thoughts spring immediately to mind. One, I am more prone to my sparkle going darkle when I am tired and feeling unwell. Sleep is a bigger deal mood-wise than it was when my health was excellent. That is a good thing to know because I do have some means of adjusting that. The second thing I notice is how lovely it is that having a couple down days in a row is now a noteworthy event. There was a time when it would have been somewhat unremarkable. No more. I call that lucky! 😀

A rare encounter with an audibly purring Toby. Cuddle cats are good!

Holiday to do listThis sweet holiday check list, sent to me a while back by one of my beautiful clients. I love it!

A perfectly perfect Saturday! Getting little taskies done, like clearing out my office supply drawer! I know I don’t need 10 pairs of scissors, 30 or 40 highlighters and dry erase markers, and 3,000 extra pens. And guess what — Katie and Cina needed exactly that many of those things! 😉

After getting little taskies and some work done I headed out with the kids to my folks’ annual church bazaar. So fun to catch up with those friendly people!

Then a brilliant and wonderful dinner with Sarah and Ida. Sarah made the most delicious lentil pasta with crazy-good spinach-garlic-something delicious sauce. Yum! And what a blissful evening of catching up, playing with Ida, and cuddling with cats. ❤ Even Reggie came over to say hi and be petted — a first for me! I know enough to be deeply, deeply honored. 🙂

Hats and scarves and gloves, oh my! What a blustery day. I like things that make me feel cozy on blustery days. I also like that they remind me of Winnie the Pooh, which makes me grin and start making up hummy songs about stuff. 🙂

Making progress on an awesome secret project I’m doing for a friend. Fun to do, fun to plan, fun to think about completing. Fun fun fun fun fun! 😀

Toby, the centipede-hunting wonder cat!

Pretty pre-storm weather. I’m glad Sammy and I got our long walk in before the storm blew in!

Listening to the thunder and rain. Feels odd in November, but I like the sounds no matter when they happen. 🙂 Last year we had several inches of snow!

The funny contrast of hanging out with a dog all day and cats all evening. I kept thinking today that dogs should purr, too. When I told Sammy that, he just wiggled his eyebrows at me. I don’t know what that means in dog-talk! 😛

Warm sweaters and blankets and scarves, oh my. I like feeling cozy when it starts to get cold outside!

Resting when resting is needed.

Luna kittyPurring cats to aid in said resting.

Mustering enough energy to go out and pick up my prescription and being rewarded by seeing 2 cars next to each other in the parking lot with the same letters on them. Okay. Well, it was cooler than it sounds. 😉

I love cultivating and enjoying a brain that is easily pleased and amused! If you’ve spent any time with me, you know that things that please me tend to elicit a gleeful response. 😀 Yesterday, I was amused not only by the thing that amused me in the first place, but also by the reaction of a new acquaintance to my gleeful response. She said, “Wow! What a great response. You’re like a kid.” I agreed. Then she said, “It’s good to be like that sometimes!” I grinned and told her, “I’m like this most of the time.” So there ya go. I stand at the ready, waiting to be pleased and amused. 😉

Pretty sunshine and shadows playing across the kitchen.

Seriously crazy cats. That moon the other day has turned them into playful lunatics. Ahahaha — they’re acting just like kids. 🙂

My Parkour kitties (Freerunner felines?) racing around the house, over, under, and through the furniture — and ME — one after the other. What funny little goofballs.

Delicious farmer’s market veggies for lunch: zucchini, squash, onions with some chicken. Yum!

Perfect night for viewing the eclipse. Pretty!
