A gorgeous pretend spring day and enough time and energy to go out for a walk in the sunshine. With no coat!
Americanos from Royal Grounds. Mmmm.
Catching up with the always amusing David. 🙂

So much light these days. I love this time of more and more daylight, grass peeking out, birds singing.
Lovely chat with Timmy this morning! Such a wonderful start to the day… sunshine and connecting with my dear friend! 🙂
Making progress on massive projects. I feel so lucky to be in a place where undertaking the big tasks even feels possible!
I appreciate that I am so interested in the stuff of my life that I sometimes maybe rush back into it a little quicker than is, strictly speaking, wise. Achoo! 😛 Oh, well! Yesterday was fun and today I did more resting and will head to bed early again.
Yesterday’s fun trip down memory lane, listening to songs I wrote a few (or many!) years ago. Got me thinking of going back and actually finishing some of them (they’re almost all drafts written in an hour or so. I’m pretty good at starting songs, but not so good at finishing them!) Hmmmm. That’d be an interesting project. Some are from so long ago I don’t even remember writing them….but that’s my voice on the recording, so I must’ve. Hahaha!
More Wodehouse wonders…. like this description of a toddler: “His walking was a bit amateurish and his speech rather hard to follow …” Accurate and hilarious.
Quick healing – already feel like I’m over the worst of the cold that started Monday. Phew!
Listening to Ellis’ new CD, The Guest House and then Ray Charles’ Genius Loves Company while I did a little busy work. Fun!
Watching this morning’s fine powdered sugar snow morph into puffy cotton fluff snow.
Looking forward to a day of working and napping. I am so glad I can work in my pjs and take breaks of whatever length whenever I need to. 🙂
Coffee.
I love having reasons to make new cards! Fun fun fun.
The friendly folks I’ve been talking to for the last month at MN Care. Eventually we’ll get my file untangled and I’ll have insurance again…Meanwhile, they are always so pleasant to talk with and we generally find something to laugh about while we chat. 🙂
The clever me who had the foresight to make the stock yesterday so I could easily finish up some warming, lovely soup today. And now to bed – before 8 pm. I must need the rest! 😉
Wonderful visit with Pam this afternoon. Even though we were both on the verge of claiming the day for down time, we remembered that we get energy from spending time together. Yay, us! I love how wide ranging our conversations are – always interesting, enlightening, and full of laughs. 😀
The amazing present Pam gave me – a coloring book full of geometric patterns and squiggly shapes like the ones I like to draw…. and it comes with 3D glasses!!! So. Much. Fun!
Looking back on a truly sweet weekend… so many good RubyCuddles and games and conversations and playtime with my amazing friends.
Ohhhh – I guess I should thank my lucky star… like this one Pam made for me today! (It’s about as big a dime… but puffy!!) Heh. 🙂
Wonderful impromptu visit with Terri and Ruby. I learned how to play Froggy Boogie! 🙂
Balmy weather. So fun to go out without a hat!
Super fun time playing pretend with Sarah tonight! My favorite part was the new story: Jo and the Cornbread of Summerhill. What fun! 😀
Day 183. More literary fun – this time with Terry Pratchett’s Tiffany Aching books. “Oh waily, waily, waily!” So much goodness wrapped in silliness and fun.
Sharp pencils and big erasers.
Rain! Then sunshine! What a day. 😀
Wodehouse’s use of language makes me giggle. This (of a man being hit by a car – don’t worry he doesn’t get hurt): “He received the automobile in the small of the back.” How did he think to use the word receive?!? It’s just so delicious.
Working in my tidier, more organized office. I love the feeling of things being more settled.
Another fun visit with Jeff this afternoon!
