I am happy to announce my new Seriously Happy Greetings! Choose an original watercolor & mixed media cards or a set of prints (for those times when you just have so much love you need to send!). Each card includes its own A2 (4-3/8 x 5-3/4) envelope.
I’ll add new designs every week or so. If there’s something special you’d like to see, let me know. I love new challenges!
I have such amazing friends. Lucky me! Last week, my beautiful, brilliant, and bubbly friend Pam told me about a website dedicated to rare and unusual words: phrontistery.info. So. Much. Fun!
And since I like to double my fun whenever possible, I decided to start learning a new word every day…and then, you know, illuminating it with beautiful doodles. Like I do. 😄

Hi friends, I am excited to be finalizing details for our newest Seriously Happy games. I guess you could say I’m, well, seriously happy. 😉I hope you are, too!
I’m currently finishing up work on our Happy Brain Bingo cards. This game uses the same tools as Appointment Fun Bingo and Chemo Care Bingo, but is designed for every day, real-life situations and will include cards like Office Bingo, DMV Bingo, Tax Prep Bingo, Calming Bingo…but I’m not sure exactly which ones yet!

Exciting news #2: Good news from heart doc!
Guess what?! There’s good news on the heart front. So exciting!
After several anxious weeks wondering what I’d learn after my recent labs and echo (and honestly, expecting to hear that my heart has enlarged even more since they don’t typically get smaller once things start to go south…) I am thrilled to report that:
1. My heart function (ejection fraction) has improved. The numbers aren’t in my chart yet and I was so excited to hear good news this morning that I forgot to ask the specifics. 😆
2. My ventricle is actually SMALLER than it was in January…by almost a centimeter (this is really good news!)
3. My kidney function is perfect.
4. Labs are all within normal range (except N-Terminal Pro Bnp for which normal range is 0 – 125 pg/mL and mine is 1,308 pg/mL. Which means I have heart failure. Oh, right! We knew that. 😉)
5. I don’t need to check back in for another 6 months… and then only for labs, device check, and clinic visit. We don’t even need to do another echo at that point.
I am over the moon with delight about this week’s news. And so grateful to Sarah for taking time off work to come with me (I was a bundle of nerves and anxiety before the appointment).

I’m SO excited to get Chemo Care Bingo cards printed and out into the world where they can do some good! And now it’s time for me to finalize the language and format for the cards.

Minnesota is the best! (Well, for about 6 days each year…) I appreciate the sounds and smells and sights from my little walk out in Minnetonka. Yes, it’s a human-made lake. Yes, it’s in the middle of a residential / commercial area. Yes, there were flower blossoms drifting down, ducks swimming, egrets standing very still, and people laughing. Yes my allergies nearly blinded me. SO worth it! ❤️
