I appreciate:

• That my legs and heart and lungs and eyes all work well enough to walk me around my neighborhood whenever I ask them to.
• Seeing new and interesting things every time I go for a walk – even when I don’t alter my path!
• The smell of coffee. It’s just so inviting and friendly.

I appreciate:

• The americano I had a few days ago — I love that the barista drew a flag on it. You know, to help identify it.
• The countless opportunities to see beautiful things in my neighborhood.
• This series of amazing sunny days following our rainy spell. What a wonderful contrast!

I appreciate:

• My new no-meeting Mondays. So nice to have a chunk of uninterrupted work time early in the week!
• Having a crazybusy life full of people and events of my choosing. I am so lucky.
• My NaNoWriMo mug filled with coffee. It reminds me of the fun of NaNoWriMo — and delivers my coffee!

I appreciate:

• A quiet morning at home. So nice not to have to be anywhere for a change.
• Finally getting the FB page made for Cursed!
• Watching Toby who, having spilled my water bottle, and, after cautiously investigating said spill, decided to spread the water out around the floor with his paws, then do a little dance in the water, then lick the water off his paws. What a little weirdo.

I appreciate:

• The thoughtful discussion about mindfulness, focus, and fun at Tai Chi this morning. Exactly what I needed.
• Getting to play with Sarah in the debut performance of Women of a Certain Height! Fun!!
• The chance to reconnect with my fabulous family at Debb’s Kitchen Warming party. What a treat!

I appreciate:

• Watching Toby play with Katie’s birthday balloons (now on the floor). Everything is a potential toy – or enemy – to that one!
• The fact that my friends make sure I see the funniest videos. Thank you friends. I am always ready for a good laugh!
• The super amazing customer service at both Threadless and USI Wireless. I love working with companies that take good care of their customers.

I appreciate:

• That everything is in motion. No matter what’s happening, it is going to change.
• Feeling better than yesterday – onward, upward immune system!
• Making scrumptious banana bread with my darling Katie.
• Getting to catch up with Sara today – it had been waaaaaaay too long.
• Getting to hold Niko today. What a love! And that little bit of spit up made me feel like a real pro.
• Improvtastical class tonight.
• Snarky Ryan coming in our front door and mocking me.

I appreciate:

• Tea, chicken soup, and rest.
• Tonight’s thunderstorm.
• Weird letter happenings – like half of Katie’s improv class having first names beginning with J, or another weird thing with last names starting with W and Y that’s way to wordy to explain, but was super funny, I promise.

I appreciate:

• So much fun rolled up into one day! The fabulous double celebration with dear friends today — re-celebrating Katie’s birthday with them AND attending their impromptu wedding. Beautiful. And now they’re even more marrieder!
• The HUGE Theater Improvathon planning meeting today. How l love the people in this community. 28 hours of improv (and fundraising, just to be clear) coming soon!
• Rehearsing (and celebrating Kathleen’s birthday with) my amazing Cursed! cast-mates tonight. Oh my, how you ladies make me laugh.

I appreciate:

• 22 years with the most wonderful daughter a mom could want!
• Getting to spend time with my mom today. Even if she did play a 122-point word and kick my butt in Scrabble.
• Coffee and Dayquil!
