Appreciations 4.154 – choose

Productive work day – two more taskies done that I’d been putting off!

Big projects done around the house, too. Got all the books moved up from the basement and organized up here! Only I don’t know what happened to my complete works of Shakespeare. Did I really give it away during the last round of eliminations?!? Fascinating. Also finally got the guest bedroom set up.

The best part of the day, of course, was dinner and a fun visit with Debb! How nice (for me!) that she sometimes has to come up to the city to work. πŸ˜‰

A lovely visit with Jeff yesterday. How fun – and still confusing πŸ˜‰ – that he can just stop by. Pretty cool!

This morning’s little dusting of snow. How pretty!

Another short coloring meditation. I like the idea of choosing a word for the day – what a fun experiment!

Appreciations 4.152 – YES

Yes!

Quick coloring time this morning. Sometimes one word is enough. πŸ™‚

Sunny sunny sunshine. What a beautiful thing to look out and see snow crystals bathed in the bright light.

Hearing from my Mom this morning that folks are still talking about how much fun laughter yoga was! They even did a little during exercise class this morning. Fun!

Discovering some possible simple solutions to the big, big tiredness I’ve had lately.

Feeling hopeful!

Appreciations 4.151 – modern comforts

Going to sleep on a comfortable bed, under warm, just-out-of-the-dryer sheets (having washed same in my own home) in a warm, not too dry (thanks to the humidifier) room. Starting the day making delicious coffee from freshly-ground beans and water heated on the stove and drinking it from a mug washed while I slept. It’s easy to take these things for granted, but how comfortable and simple they make my days. πŸ™‚

Getting an email from my Dad this morning, letting me know that he had a great night of sleep following yesterday’s laughter yoga. How exciting to see those laughter benefits so quickly! πŸ˜€

My doc’s new practice of using wrap instead of bandaids after a blood draw. Makes for much more comfortable removal. πŸ˜‰

You are lovedAnother lovely start to the day – coloring and meditation music. Mmmmm. Used some of that serenity when I went out to find the car wouldn’t start! πŸ˜‰

I love that I had a feeling that I should do errands and come back home before leaving for today’s gigΒ  – instead of stopping on my way out as I’d planned! It gave me enough time to arrange a ride (thanks, Dad!) and get out to Apple Valley in plenty of time to lead laughter yoga. πŸ™‚

So much fun laughing with a big group of engaged, enthusiastic, excellent laughers today! Very good, very good, yay!! πŸ˜€

AAA’s terrific service. I’m glad I got to sit inside my house while I waited for them to come out and jump the car. It was really quick β€” and now my car’s all happy again. πŸ™‚ The friendly, helpful guy who came out said he stopped counting how many jump starts he’d done today after about 60!

Morning coloring – a new No Soliciting sign to replace the holiday themed one. Katie made our first one a couple years ago – might as well be friendly! We’ve had a sign like this up for ages and nobody’s really said anything, but for some reason, in the past week several people coming to the door have chuckled and commented on it. πŸ˜€

Having my dictionary/thesaurus app right on my toolbar. I use it all the time! πŸ™‚

Wonderful visit with Terri, Ellis, Ruby, and Katie today. We talked about love languages and coloring and gifts and soup and played with LunaKitty and it was just the best thing ever. So many Ruby snuggles. Mmmmmm.

Getting through a slue of pesky tasks I’d been putting off. Go, me! πŸ˜‰

The fact that you can spell slue s-l-u-e or s-l-e-w. I like both variations. It makes me LAUGH that the word derives from mid 19th cent Irish SLUAGH. Hahaha!

The fun of getting ready to teach Laughter Yoga again. It’s been awhile. Gonna dust off my hahahas and heeheehees. πŸ˜€

Taking the time for a little coloring meditation this morning. My day feels so much more balanced when I start slowly instead of jumping right into doing. πŸ™‚

Another inspiring client meeting this morning! πŸ’—

New calendarTrying out a new way to keep on top of Skynote tasks. We’ll see how THIS works! Thanks for the idea, Alison. πŸ˜€

Washing my clothes IN MY OWN HOME! Okay, sorry I shouted, but seriously this is soooooooooooooo exciting.

The way something you totally took for granted can seem like such a tremendous gift when you’ve gone without it for awhile. πŸ™‚

Our little heat wave. It felt positively balmy out there today. πŸ™‚

Another excellent DDP coworking day with Amy and Allison, both of whom know how to spell their names. πŸ˜€

Another fabulous pre-9 pm bedtime. Sleeping is fun!

I love when things line up and flow so easily! I’m thrilled that since I decided to do Skynote full time and stop looking for some additional job, perfect opportunities and connections are showing up. How lovely!

Remember how I said I’m so excited that Jeff & Laura live here now? Yeah, well that just keeps getting reinforced. What a fun time tonight with them and Melanie and Andy at the wine tasting! πŸ˜€ Plus, how awesome that I got to be chauffeured there. If you’ve ever gone anywhere with me, you know how much I love being driven around like a princess. πŸ™‚

Embracing my wimpy wine tastes. Yes, my faves from the night were (unsurprisingly) the Riesling, the Pinot Noir, and the Cab. (Yes, Andy, I know you liked the Shiraz, but since you also like beets, your opinion is null and void.) πŸ˜›
