I appreciate:

• Listening to this morning’s precipitation. It sounded like rain! It wasn’t (it was on its way to becoming snow) – but for a few minutes when I woke up, it at least SOUNDED like spring.
• Magnets.
• Big, fluffy bath towels.

I appreciate:

• Shopping miracle – I found what I needed in the right color, the right size, and on sale!
• Having a clean house. Wow, it feels so much better here!
• Listening to Katie and Ryan singing songs from Frozen together as they did the dishes. Music to my ears – on so many levels!

I appreciate:

• The sweet older man who noticed me looking unsure and went out of his way to make sure I knew where to go at the downtown post office this morning.
• The super-awesome audiences in the Twin Cities. How nice to be able to play in sold-out shows 2 weeks in a row!
• Tulips. Not yet – but soon!

I appreciate:

• My purple cardigan. It is the perfect weight and so comfy!
• Looking forward to an improvalicious weekend with a show and a rehearsal!
• Longer days. I love how late it stays light

I appreciate:

• Weather warm enough to go for a walk!
• Rainboots, because they a) are easy to put on without any of that painful toe-bending stuff required by other shoes b) allow me to walk through puddles (puddles!) and still retain my dry-foot status c) are purdy.
•  Hearing! So many wonderful spring-y-licious sounds: birds, puddle splashes (splooshes), people talking, airplanes. So so so so good.

I appreciate:

• Successfully navigating a 12-hour work day yesterday. It helped that it started with some Laughter Yoga to get my blood pumping!
• The fun of feeling like a rock-star, doing yesterday’s gig with a wireless mic headset. Just a little practice before my TED talk, right?
• Being able to wear boots again! My toe does hurt at the end of the day, but it sure is nice not to have to schlep around with the back of my shoe smashed down under my heel.

I appreciate:

• Getting to do laughter yoga with a big group of people today. I’ve never led a group of 50+ before. You’ll probably hear us all laughing from wherever you are!
• The super-fun coincidence of me coming across all my LY materials yesterday before I even knew about this gig!
• My flexible job and accommodating co-workers who made it possible for me to accept this gig!

I appreciate:

• Weather warm enough for puddles! I saw someone outside wearing a t-shirt and no jacket today!
• Crossing things off my to-do list. Or should I say “ta-da” list?
• Open windows letting in the balmy air.

I appreciate:

• Chocolate. In all forms. Oh, yes.
• Watching cats move. All that stretching and arching and curling up is interesting.
• Buds on the trees!!!!!

I appreciate:

• Hazelnut flavoring for making a decadent weekend coffee. Yummers.
• Drivers who slow down when they pass so as to avoid splashing me. Thank you, nice drivers.
• Sunsunsunshine.
