• First experiencing and now reliving my amazing, charmed, perfect trip with my cousins. 
• That the snow had already melted so much by the time I got home. 
• Drinking coffee from my NOLA mug and savoring a quiet morning before jumping back into my “real” life. — with Libby O’Connell and Debb Seelinger.

I appreciate:

• So much goodness here in NOLA yesterday: gluten-free blueberry pancakes at the French Market – and Roland’s suggestion to see James River at Irvin Mayfield’s Jazz Playhouse. Jazz bagpipe?? Yup, we saw that. 
• Amazing drinks (Pimm’s Cup) at the Napoleon House. 
• The most beautiful evening spent with my cousins looking at old photos, sharing stories, and remembering my uncle. Perfect. — with Libby O’Connell and Debb Seelinger.

I appreciate:

• Spending time with my brilliant, funny, so-much-fun-to-be-with cousins, Debb & Libby! 
• Sampling all the fun and wonder of NOLA. 
• Live jazz!!

I appreciate:

• Being able to buy a gluten-free sandwich at the airport yesterday. That made the travel day so much easier! 
• Walking around the French Quarter last night and passing so many buskers including, yes, a saxophone player(!) and several tarot readers. 
• The hilarity of splitting a sandwich with Debb and having us both burn our faces off – on what? The house mayo!! Hahahaha! NOLA house mayo has rather more heat than a Minneapolis house mayo.

I appreciate:

• The super friendly, funny TSA agents today. I’ve never had such a fast, easy, fun security check before! 
• Getting to the airport with enough time to finish all my work for the day. No emails in inbox OR action folder!! 
• Katie & Mckenzie for holding down the fort so I can relax for a couple days! What a treat!!

I appreciate:

• Silliness in all forms.
• Earl Grey tea. I’m not drinking it now… I mean, really, it’s coffee time! Doesn’t make me like Earl Grey tea any less, though.
• Taste. What a cool way to experience things. Senses are good.

 I appreciate:

• the number 222. That’s fun number. I like how it looks. I like numbers.
• The luxury of sleeping in until almost 9. Yum.
• Going for a walk! In Minnesota! It’s not snowing!

I appreciate:

• The excitement of creating a workshop for my happiness sampler course. It is going to be SO. MUCH. FUN.
• Habits that make life easy – like completely clearing out my inbox every morning and evening. It’s so automatic now, and keeps my email stress sooooooo low.
• Lilacs. It’s getting closer to that time of year!!
