I appreciate:

• JimmyD’s class. Good people, good improv, good stuff. So. Much. Fun! 
• Going to sleep really, really happy – and waking up after a silly, super fun dream in which I write and perform all the voices for a live broadcast of a Futurama + Sponge Bob type of show, lose the script, but easily improvise the show and manage to incorporate the opera singer and her children who mysteriously show up in the recording room which looks more like a therapists office…
• Remembering to really bask in good feelings whenever I can.

I appreciate:

• The ability to perceive things. I mean, really, it is so cool to see, smell, touch, taste, feel, and, well, sense things. 
• Commas! (See previous sentence.) 
• Hot tea on a cold and snowy, um, April morning.

I appreciate:

• The sound of Luna purring. What big, contented sound from my tiny little cat. 
• Days that begin with good news and uplifting videos and articles. 
• That space where sunshine filtering in makes me believe it’s warm – before I’ve gone outside to learn otherwise. 
• Also – I forgot, but all day yesterday I was loving writing the date 4/14/14. Every time I wrote it I said it in my head: Four, one-four, one-four. Then I grinned because that’s how I roll.

I appreciate:

• Seeing tremendously satisfying improv at IAGG. Brilliant work, Hannah & MJ, Becky, Seniz, and Daniel, and you first two groups! 
• Seeing the aforementioned brilliant improv with my girls Amy, Kathleen, and Pat AND the excellent post-show Herk excursion. 
• This video and David for being sure I saw it.

• I also appreciate spending the WHOLE DAY with Katie and Ruby yesterday – and the fact that we got to spend about 4 hours drawing and coloring. What a perfect day!

• A sweet and slow Saturday morning with Katie and Ruby. 
• Multicolored horses (blue and pink and green and purple and brown).

• Water. Amazing how it powerfully quenches thirsts, helps things grow, settles in beautiful arrangements of rivers, streams, lakes, puddles. 
• Puddles, for reminding me to stop and stomp the puddles. 
• Stompy-stomping, whether in joy or in anger – just such a satisfying move.

• Almond milk.
