- Sweet things of all kinds – foods, moments, people.
Year 2, Day 258: Bri-Ry-Rob-Ronnie, the Pomodoro technique, freckles
- Brian- Ryan-Robin-Ronnie-That Guy and the bright, beautiful girl who named him.
- Learning about (okay, being reminded about) the Pomodoro technique. We’ll see how it the week shapes us using it!
- Freckles.
Year 2, Day 257: waking up to sunshine, May Day, sunscreen
- Waking up to sunshine!
- Going to the May Day celebration with some of my very favorite people in the world.
- The smell of my sunscreen, which reminds me a) that it is sunny today b) that I’m going to spend the day in the sun with people I love c) of so many other sunny days spent with people I love.
Year 2 Day 256: Amy’s class, rearrangements, fiddles
I appreciate:
- Getting to play with my amazing friends for Amy’s class today – and then watch the class at work. What a great morning!
- Rearranging furniture and getting rid of stuff we don’t use. I love how spacious and peaceful the kitchen feels now.
- Fiddles.
Year 2 Day 255: sunlight, health insurance, lip balm
I appreciate:
- The first peek of the sun in many days (After getting past my initial confusion about what that strange light might be…)
- Finally having health insurance again after 4 months without it. Soooo happy that MnSure paperwork snafu is settled. Hooray!
- Lip balm.
Year 2 Day 254: the beginning of May, coffee, whiskers & purring
I appreciate:
- The beginning of May. It just sounds like spring is on its way.
- Coffee coffee coffee coffee. Did I mention delicious coffee?
- Whiskers and purring.
Year 2 Day 253: satisfying client meetings, greenness, grocery stores open late
I appreciate:
- Really satisfying meetings with new clients. I love when I can help people reach their goals!
- Greenness. It may be gray for days on end, but things are growing and budding anyway. I just know the sun will come back some day!
- Grocery stores open until midnight so I can still get my shopping done, despite a crazy-busy packed day and evening.
Year 2 Day 252: midnight, cats, falling asleep easily
I appreciate:
- Midnights at my house. So far this week they’ve been hilarious.
- Cats. Tonight’s fun: Toby discovers, tastes, plays with, and eventually eats cucumber. Luna’s reaction is priceless. I swear she looked at me and said, “Are you kidding me with this?”
- Falling asleep easily and fast. Good sign it was time for bed!

Year 2 Day 251: rain, making progress, a night off & catching up
I appreciate:
- That all this precipitation is rain and not snow!
- Having a plan and making actual progress on that plan.
- A night off! Looking forward to post-work lazing tonight.
- Catching up on appreciation posting. What a busy weekend. Phew!
