- BeezKneez local honey for helping reduce my allergies and for being just plain delicious!
- Books.
- Mugs I’ve gotten when traveling. How nice to drink my coffee and remember wonderful trips I’ve taken!
Year 2, Day 268: bright moon, quiet streets, cozy blankets
I appreciate:
- The bright moon behind the clouds as I drove home from class last night. So pretty.
- How quiet the streets seem at midnight on a week night.
- Cozy blankets to keep me warm on a cold winter’s, er, spring’s night.
Year 2, Day 267: new flowers, little yellow finch, crazy cats
I appreciate:
- Seeing new flowers every day on my walks.

- The little yellow finch (I think that’s what it was) that flew and hopped along with us on our way home this morning.
- Cats going crazy watching all the birds.
Year 2, Day 266: my funny bone, books, mountains
- My funny bone, which is so easily tickled.
- The juxtaposition of the last two books given to me, both of which I love.

- Mountains – seeing ’em, climbing ’em, moving ’em.
Year 2, Day 265: walks in the rain, fresh green smell, supportive people
I appreciate:
- Walking in the rain.
- The fresh green smell, the sound of birds singing and rain on the budding leaves, the green newness everywhere.
- The amazingly supportive people in my life.
Day 264: mom, shoes, improv joy
- My mom. She is the best mama a girl could hope for. I am unbelievably lucky.
- The shoes of glory!
- The joy of discovery in improv (see previous appreciation).
- Playing in Happily Ever After at IAGG tonight with Sarah! It is going to be SO MUCH FUN!! (Yes, the all-in-caps AND double exclamation point kind of fun!)
Year 2, Day 263: Sara, Sarah, blooming flowers
I appreciate:
- Getting to spend time with Sara and Niko today. How lovely!
- Sarah for explaining the human sleep-wake cycle to me. It is good to have helpful and knowledgeable friends.
- Discovering so many more flowers in bloom today!

Year 2, Day 262: libraries, Pam’s appreciations, water filters
- Libraries and all the wonderful memories they evoke: Getting my first library card, going to Southdale library on Saturdays with my dad and coming home with an armful of books, taking my kids to Washburn library to gaze at the mural on the ceiling and choose their armfuls of books…. Good stuff.
- Pam’s daily appreciations. They are so thoughtful and funny and beautiful. Oh – just like Pam!!
- Water filters.
Year 2, Day 261: fun at class, thunderstorm, swingy skirt
I appreciate:
- Having so much fun at (and after) JimmyD’s class last night.
