I appreciate:

• Getting to spend time with Sara and Niko today. How lovely! 
• Sarah for explaining the human sleep-wake cycle to me. It is good to have helpful and knowledgeable friends. 
• Discovering so many more flowers in bloom today!

• Libraries and all the wonderful memories they evoke: Getting my first library card, going to Southdale library on Saturdays with my dad and coming home with an armful of books, taking my kids to Washburn library to gaze at the mural on the ceiling and choose their armfuls of books…. Good stuff. 
• Pam’s daily appreciations. They are so thoughtful and funny and beautiful. Oh – just like Pam!! 
• Water filters.

I appreciate:

• Having so much fun at (and after) JimmyD’s class last night. 
• Lightning and thunder and good drenching rains. 
• Swingy skirts that feel like summer.

• Lots of mini-walks throughout the day. Mmmmm. 
• LunchProv: HUGE Fun! So much fun with Chico, Blake, Becky, and Dawn today. 
• Blake’s Mirror Mirror game – it is a great exercise on so many levels. 

I appreciate:

• Getting stuff done — and still having time for a walk — before work! 
• Crayons. 
• Sweet things of all kinds – foods, moments, people.

• Brian- Ryan-Robin-Ronnie-That Guy and the bright, beautiful girl who named him. 
• Learning about (okay, being reminded about) the Pomodoro technique. We’ll see how it the week shapes us using it! 
• Freckles.

• Waking up to sunshine! 
• Going to the May Day celebration with some of my very favorite people in the world. 
• The smell of my sunscreen, which reminds me a) that it is sunny today b) that I’m going to spend the day in the sun with people I love c) of so many other sunny days spent with people I love.

I appreciate:

• Getting to play with my amazing friends for Amy’s class today – and then watch the class at work. What a great morning! 
• Rearranging furniture and getting rid of stuff we don’t use. I love how spacious and peaceful the kitchen feels now. 
• Fiddles.

I appreciate:

• The first peek of the sun in many days (After getting past my initial confusion about what that strange light might be…) 
• Finally having health insurance again after 4 months without it. Soooo happy that MnSure paperwork snafu is settled. Hooray! 
• Lip balm.

I appreciate:

• The beginning of May. It just sounds like spring is on its way. 
• Coffee coffee coffee coffee. Did I mention delicious coffee? 
• Whiskers and purring.
