Appreciations Year Three: Day 303

Pam's Pirate bag june 2015Wonderful lunch and chat with Pam today! Oh how we laugh, oh how we love, oh how we love to laugh! ❤

Her completely awesome needlework bag – so great!

A little spa treatment treat gift from Pam. How wonderful to get pretty toes together — and have the place to ourselves, so we could giggle and guffaw together with our tickly feet. 🙂 Thank you, sweet friend! Red toenails June 2015

The Muppets, especially Animal and Beaker, The Enchanted Forest Chronicles, learning to manage my energetic resources, comfy pillows, clovers, cloves, owls, slow lorises, irises.

Appreciations Year Three: Day 302

The incredibly sweet and thoughtful people in my life who made last night’s ER adventure much easier. Thanks, Pat, Mckenzie, Debb, and Alison! (I’m fine – we still don’t know what it was, but not kidney stones and no other serious complications).

Blanket warmers at the ER – oh what a difference those warm blankets make when you’re waiting!

Heating pads and hot water bottles. So comforting!

Nice visit with my dad this morning. He looks pretty badass with that do-rag on his head!

Nice little visit with Alison, who in her unending thoughtfulness, dropped off some food. ❤

Fast and easy trip to the vet with the Tobymeister. No more dagger-like claws!

Sunlight filtering through the trees and making the couch a truly cozy place to hang out today.

Appreciations Year Three: Day 301

IMG_3052 IMG_3054Wonderful breakfast & walk at the Rose Gardens with Robby. It’s the week for catching up with friends! How great that the rain started after our walk.

The nice guy who caught up with us to return Rob’s credit card which she hadn’t even realized had fallen out of her pocket.

More planning of plans. I love looking forward to things!

Giggles, guffaws, chortles, chuckles, smirks, smiles.

Appreciations Year Three: Day 298

Luxurious visit with Sarah & Ida. It’s amazing how many changes can happen in just a few weeks. So great to reconnect and go for a little walk in the neighborhood. ❤

White flowers (amazing smelling!) 6-2015Always finding some new delight (like these flowers, which smelled amazing) whenever I go for a walk.

The bustling Kingfield Farmer’s Market – what a change from those first few years (14 years ago!) when it was just a couple of us artisans and a few produce people. What fun to have been there at the beginning and to now enjoy all that it’s become!

The many things so easy to take for granted that make life easier and more comfortable like heat and A/C, running water, lights, appliances, furniture, blankets, computers, desks, doorknobs, coffee grinders…so many things I surely don’t know how to make, but find incredibly helpful! 🙂

All those years I didn’t have to go to a laundromat to do laundry. 😉

Appreciations Year Three: Day 296

shadows on wall june12 2015The play of shadows and light on the walls. I love how the shadows change all summer!

Productive and exciting day at work. Learning new things!

The amazing generosity and kindness of people in my life — even people I’m just getting to know. Sometimes it just takes my breath away. How did I get so lucky?? 🙂

Appreciations Year Three: Day 295

Little sparkles of hope flitting around the house these days. How sweet.

Reconnecting with old friends.

Nice little visit with my folks this afternoon.

Meeting Alison and Kathleen for a terrific Monsters show.

The funny sort of conversation of head-tilting I had with the robin on the fence.

Handpainted things, Deep, comforting breaths, fireflies, Firefly, Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog, when bread lands butter side up instead of butter side down, magical solutions you can’t even imagine appearing just when you need them most, laughing, hugs, winks, abalone, swings.

Appreciations Year Three: Day 294

Perfectly perfect weather for my first “I’m not walking to get somewhere, I’m walking just to walk” walk in a long time! What bliss.

The unbelievably yummy sights and scents provided by the gardens in my neighborhood – especially this year since I’ve not had the time and energy to tend to my own. Thanks, neighbors! ❤

The way tiny little details can be so incredibly pleasing, like the little wind-chime-y sound of my earrings in the wind as I walked. Sweet.

My funny, charming, clever, ambitious, talented, enchanting friends who light up my life, make the world a fascinating place, and, uh, make a little time dinging around on facebook completely worthwhile. 😉
