My Parkour kitties (Freerunner felines?) racing around the house, over, under, and through the furniture — and ME — one after the other. What funny little goofballs.

Delicious farmer’s market veggies for lunch: zucchini, squash, onions with some chicken. Yum!

Perfect night for viewing the eclipse. Pretty!

autumnal tootsiesHaving the perfect amount of energy — enough to do all that I wanted to do today: decorate my tootsies for fall, get a little bit of work done, wash my hair, and still have enough energy to make it to Vicky’s lovely gathering!

The fun of meeting Pam’s enchanting family and friends – so much storytelling, smiling, and silliness! Wonderful to be among people of such great warmth, affection, humor, and heart! ❤

Swapping tattoo tales and becoming toe-ring buddies with Vicky! 😀

An incomparable evening for sitting outside on the deck — crisp, comfortable air, barely a bug to be seen, and oh, what a magnificent moon!

Appreciations 4.36 – Feeling better and having fun

Feeling enough better today to get a little bit of work done today.

colored slippersFeeling enough better today to get some important coloring done today! (Yes, I’ve been walking around with one multi-colored slipper and one black and white slipper for all these months.) 😉

The utterly delightful language in Wodehouse’s work … biffed off (departed), bally, ranygazoo, rummy, crispish — and stinko, woozled, and awash (all meaning drunk). Lalalala. Language is so much fun. ❤

The aha moment this morning when I determined the reason for yesterday’s weird nap…sometimes I get sick. Didn’t occur to me at the time. Hahaha!

Cozy day with blankets, cats, and books.

Lots and lots of sleep. 🙂

Sweet, misty, sleepy morning. I like this time of changing weather!

My wonderful, inspiring clients. I was a little fuzzy today, not sure how much work I’d accomplish after another not-so-sleep-filled night, but after researching reasons that giving is good for our health for one newsletter, and reading and finding images for another truly beautiful newsletter/blog, I find I have more energy now than I did when I got up this morning.

Ellen Swanson’s energy, passion, gentleness, and wonderful work. Every single interaction I have with her makes me smile. Yes, even our business as usual emails about getting things done. I am so lucky to get to work with her. I can’t recommend her work highly enough. You can read her thoughtful and thought-provoking blog here: healingthehierarchy.com/blog/ (and you can learn about and buy her book, Heart, Gut, Head: Creating a Healthier Hierarchy.) If you like it, please share it with others. It is changing my world!

The hilarity of not remembering to post my appreciations on World Gratitude Day. Hahaha! Funny. 😀

More gorgeous weather for another wonderful walk. Every time I get to be out in the sweet sunshine, I feel so happy.

The profound joy of reconnecting with and singing with my beloved Earthtones. Oh how I missed you all! And oh, how much I forgot about how funny and challenging it is to learn music in other languages. Wheeeee!

The cozy comfort of putting warm-from-the-dryer sheets onto the bed, then immediately slipping in to go to sleep. Mmmmmm.

Appreciations 4.31 – Friendly walks, fruitful work, family wonderfulness

farmers market haul 9:20:15What a stunning day! Perfect for a walk up to the Kingfield Farmer’s Market (all those colors!) … and then a walk over to the coffee shop with Sarah & Ida. I love our walking visits! ❤

Surprisingly productive middle of the day – including getting 2 plants re-potted (a task that’s been on my list for months) and a nice chunk of work.

Super fun visit catching up with and trading house-repair/painting/cleaning stories with Jeff & Laura this evening! At least I only have ONE house to do that for… not the one being sold, the temporary one, AND the new one. What a lot of work they’ve been doing! I’m excited that we’ll all be living in MN soon. 😀

Appreciations 4.30 – Infographic

Appreciation InfographicBeautiful day for a walk up to the coffee shop with Katie and Cina! What a fabulous way to start the weekend! ❤

Coffee.Coffee.Coffee!

The way my brain works — or doesn’t — when I sleep fewer than 6 hours. The whole day is an interesting, hazy cloud of half-thoughts, starts and stops, and lots of wondering: “I wonder what I was starting to say/think/do?” 😀 What an interesting state of being!

Canva. I can see that I’m going to be playing with this for lots and lots of hours as I start making my own infographics. Fun!

The sound of the rain on the roof. Makes everything feel so cozy inside, just right for drinking a nice cup of coffee and working, and later, a drinking a nice cup of tea and working, and even later, drinking another cup of tea and snuggling up with a purring feline. 😉
