Appreciations 4.148

Getting through a slue of pesky tasks I’d been putting off. Go, me! 😉

The fact that you can spell slue s-l-u-e or s-l-e-w. I like both variations. It makes me LAUGH that the word derives from mid 19th cent Irish SLUAGH. Hahaha!

The fun of getting ready to teach Laughter Yoga again. It’s been awhile. Gonna dust off my hahahas and heeheehees. 😀

Taking the time for a little coloring meditation this morning. My day feels so much more balanced when I start slowly instead of jumping right into doing. 🙂

Another inspiring client meeting this morning! 💗

New calendarTrying out a new way to keep on top of Skynote tasks. We’ll see how THIS works! Thanks for the idea, Alison. 😀

Washing my clothes IN MY OWN HOME! Okay, sorry I shouted, but seriously this is soooooooooooooo exciting.

The way something you totally took for granted can seem like such a tremendous gift when you’ve gone without it for awhile. 🙂

Our little heat wave. It felt positively balmy out there today. 🙂

Another excellent DDP coworking day with Amy and Allison, both of whom know how to spell their names. 😀

Another fabulous pre-9 pm bedtime. Sleeping is fun!

Appreciations 4.145

I love when things line up and flow so easily! I’m thrilled that since I decided to do Skynote full time and stop looking for some additional job, perfect opportunities and connections are showing up. How lovely!

Remember how I said I’m so excited that Jeff & Laura live here now? Yeah, well that just keeps getting reinforced. What a fun time tonight with them and Melanie and Andy at the wine tasting! 😀 Plus, how awesome that I got to be chauffeured there. If you’ve ever gone anywhere with me, you know how much I love being driven around like a princess. 🙂

Embracing my wimpy wine tastes. Yes, my faves from the night were (unsurprisingly) the Riesling, the Pinot Noir, and the Cab. (Yes, Andy, I know you liked the Shiraz, but since you also like beets, your opinion is null and void.) 😛

Appreciations 4.144 – cozy comfort

The great satisfaction of getting year-end totals done for clients… in January! Unprecedented. On to 1099s next – and then the rest of my own tax stuff. This is miraculous. What is happening?! 😉

The joy of staying inside on a cold day. Gave me a chance to get a lot of work done!

Snuggling into bed early, comfy pjs, hot water bottle, cat, and book. Mmmmmm. Cozy. 🙂

Appreciations 4.143

Slow slow start to the day, but finally got going and made progress on some big projects.

More drawing and coloring fun!

Staying inside on a this cold, cold day. Cozy!

My cell phone cover, for keeping my phone safe. My phone for coming back to life after pretending to die. 🙂

I finished making the soup! It is really good! Thanks for all the helpful tips. 😀

Appreciations 4.142 – ten million dollars

10,000,000Woohoo! I got $10,000,000 in the mail today! I love the companies I do business with. When my book order arrived…as an empty envelope(!), I emailed to let them know. They responded right away, and re-sent the order by priority mail…along with a handwritten note of apology, a bumper sticker, and ten million dollars. Now THAT is what I call excellent customer service! 🙂

New washing machine coming next week. Hooray!! Thanks for the help, Mom & Dad! Sooooo happy about the prospect of doing laundry at home again. 😀 Srsly.

Nice chat with David tonight. Oh, how fun it was to catch up! Plus, it’d been ages since I’d heard a truly good David rant (this one about how nothing is all bad or all good and the way we tend to cast things that way sometimes). Nothing like it, I tell ya. 💗

Appreciations 4.141 – bedraggled beginnings

Waking up feeling bedraggled after a crazy no-sleep night, only to remember that my first thing to do was to have an inspiring, productive, and fun meeting with the charming Johnny Linn! 😀 What an excellent way to start the day!

Knocking off some pesky little taskies that usually hang around for ages before I get to them. Feels great to get right to ’em!

9 pm bedtime. Yup. It’s a wild life I live. 😉

Appreciations 4.140

My fascinating, ever-changing, always interesting job. What wonderful meetings I’ve had this week. I love my clients so much.

Having a schedule that allows me to work a little, rest a little, work a little, rest a little. So grateful for that flexibility!

Scarves. Very nice for keeping some of the cold out. 😉

Playing with the design for this blog. Fun! 😀

Appreciations 4.139 – DAY 1234!

Oooooh – it’s day 139 of my 4th year of appreciations….but that makes it day 1234 since I started. Yay for number fun! 😀

Lewis Carroll for the joy of his Alice stories.

Pam, for using Frabjous Day! in her appreciations today which reminded me of all that fun and inspired this morning’s coloring meditation. Callooh! Callay!
