Year 1 Day 197: TED talks, snow day, snow snow snow

I appreciate:

  1. These TED talks: vulnerability and shame and guilt. Beautiful!
  2. That despite the fact that I work from home and am in no way affected by it, I’m super excited for the people who are getting a snow day today. πŸ˜›
  3. And, once again, the snow. Yes, I know it makes travel more difficult and it will be a bummer to shovel….but it’s still a pretty amazing thing that happens and I like the way it transforms everything.

Year 1 Day 191: cool new improv, prius love, sweet streets

I appreciate:

  1. Getting to try cool new stuff with my classmates in HUGE 501. Silent improv is fun!
  2. That my sweetie always lets me drive the Prius. πŸ™‚
  3. The fun game my daughter and I invented when we were out today. It’s based on a street we passed called Brownie Road. The game is to come up with alliterative bakery item street names. It’s fun!

Year 1 Day 190: fearless improv, learning gentleness, YOU

I appreciate:

  1. Big, fearless, joyful improv like Show X last night. Thank you, Rita and Jill, for your stunning animal portrayals. I’ll never look at a squoose the same way again… πŸ˜‰
  2. Learning to be gentle. With all that’s going on lately, my mood is up and down and up and down. It’s teaching me to be okay with what is in this moment.
  3. YOU! β™₯ You wonderful, bright lights circling around me are endlessly fascinating, beautiful, and deeply appreciated.
