• This goofy, crazy kitty.
• Fun sounds today: A little boy sitting in a shopping cart chanting “Goody goody yay yay!” super fast, sooooooooo many birds, a brother and a sister, also shopping with their parents, waving at us and saying “Hi hi hi hi” as we walked by.
• Fun sights today: 11 or 12 sliver cars in a row on the freeway; a mustard-yellow and a ketchup-red car driving right next to each other… followed by a relish-green car! And, best yet, a guy riding his bike with a big white cockatoo riding on his back!

• Learning Tai Chi and remembering about mindfulness.
• Getting stuff done. Big stuff.
• My blue sundress, which happens to match my current toenail polish and my car. #fashionforwardmama

I appreciate bright little moments (like fireflies!) in a day that started out feeling very dark. Things like:

• Getting to work with the talented, funny, and sweet Rob Clark
• Winning a comp ticket to see Clutterbug
• Getting to see Clutterbug’s opening night. Jake Scott, Rita Boersma, and James Rone were awesome! What a fabulous show – you should go see it!
• Getting to see the show with Sarah N. Duncan, who not only did all the navigating, but also actually jumped across the road.
• Driving home listening to Blues Friday on the jazz station.
• Lucky me to have such bright, bright lights in the day.

• Freedom to Marry Day! Finally! Way to go, MN.
• A day with no meetings or appointments to go to – the whole day seems to stretch out before me and right now I feel like I’ll get a bazillion things done. Lovely.
• Starting the day with a walk in the sunshine. What a good way to be ready for whatever the day brings.

• The sense of satisfaction after cleaning something extremely dirty.
• My funny, generous, wonderful kids.
• The extremely friendly (and for some reason interested in our lives) check out people at whole foods. What a fun exchange!

• More beautiful flowers. Did I mention how much I love my neighborhood?
• Walking. The best form of daily meditation for me. The movement keeps my mind from jumping to the next thing.
• This video. Everything to love – harmony, rhythm, people doing something they love and having fun. ♥

• Getting to work with such engaged, smart, open people. I keep meeting new wonderful people!
• The incredible support network in my life. No matter what’s going on for me, the people around me are incredibly kind.
• New challenges. I feel unsettled and unsteady, but I like the sense of my life being in motion.

I appreciate:

• Kitten intensity…funny little tumbler when he’s playing, ferocious purrer when he’s going to sleep.
• That LunaCat is beginning to accept Toby. Maybe they’ll be friends someday?
• Caffeine in all it’s forms. So helpful.

• Learning Tai Chi with gentle, lovely people.
• Getting to see 4-day old kittens! Oh, my, how wonderful!
• Spending time with Sarah, who introduced me to both the Tai Chi class AND the kittens. What a wonderful start to the day!

I appreciate:

• Feeling happy about little things of no consequence. And feeling happy about them over and over again during the day!
• Having really, really funny friends, the likes of whom can make my early-morning encounter with a centipede (ugh!!) the source of great happiness.
• Meeting with Sara. Really, really so good in so many ways.
