• The FABULOUS irony of me forgetting to post my gratitudes on Gratitude Day! Hahahaha!
• The super-fantastically amazing women of Cursed! Thank you, Sarah, Alison, Amy, and Kathleen for an unbelievably fun rehearsal today. Our October shows are going to be fantastic — and fantastical.
• Jen for her encouragement, support, and excellent notes on today’s rehearsal!

I appreciate:

• World Gratitude Day!
• The perfectly perfect weather, which I enjoyed in between my bazillion errands.
• Joyce, a clerk at the Bloomington Target, who is always so fun to talk to (I switch to be in her line whenever possible) and who, when asked how her day is going, often answers in an awesome sing-songy voice, “Fine and dandy, like peppermint candy.”

I appreciate:

• Coffee and peanut M&Ms. They were really there for me when I needed them this afternoon.
• Being asked about upcoming shows by a non-Facebook-y friend. I made a calendar! I feel like a “real” improviser now! 
• Late afternoon energy bursts for getting stuff done. (See item #1). 😊

I appreciate:

• Messages and phone calls from sweet friends. I am so lucky!
• The fabulous distraction of improv.
• The super fun dadaist exercise we did in class tonight. Beyond fun to watch and what a joyful thing to do!

I appreciate:

• Knowing that lack of sleep makes everything more dramatic — and knowing, therefore, not to take today too seriously.
• Amy, my fabulous NP at the heart clinic, who has a beautiful smile, is a great listener, and who gave me a hug on my way out.
• Angela, the appointment scheduler at the heart clinic for her terrific laugh!
• Caring Bridge, for making updating a bunch of people at once so easy!

I appreciate:

• My fun new job. I love when things work out so easily!
• Looking forward to curling up cozily this evening. Perfect weather for it!
• That my life is so full of good words. This week, I encountered both vertiginous and verisimilitudinous used in a reasonable way. And yes, that really does make me happy.

I appreciate:

• This pyrite and geode — and the other treasures we’ve been finding as we downsize and de-clutter. Little gems in the mess!
• Toby the wondercat batting at his toy.
• The fact that it is now possible to stand up in my attic. Soooooooo much stuff is leaving. Hurray!

I appreciate:

• My hard-working kids, who are helping me slog through decades of stuff as we clear out our space (you know, for the traditional fall cleaning….)
• My weird Toby. I just found him drinking in a new way…by standing in the water dish and splashing it around. What a goofball! 😉
• This video. What a day-brightener. I’ll take a sweet love story with my morning coffee any day!

I appreciate:

• Fruit. Especially nectarines, today. Yummity yum.
• Today’s Tai Chi. I love starting the weekend out with a focus on flow and balance.
• Rain. I know it’s causing devastation out west, but here it was sorely needed and I welcome it.

I appreciate:

• The fact that my back (which I hurt yesterday during my daring and dangerous “picking up a piece of paper off the floor” adventure) is already feeling so much better.
• Gorgeous weather for walking….and cleaning out the attic.
• The catharsis of clearing things out. Bye bye stuff!
