Appreciations 5/28/19

Minnesota is the best! (Well, for about 6 days each year…) I appreciate the sounds and smells and sights from my little walk out in Minnetonka. Yes, it’s a human-made lake. Yes, it’s in the middle of a residential / commercial area. Yes, there were flower blossoms drifting down, ducks swimming, egrets standing very still, and people laughing. Yes my allergies nearly blinded me. SO worth it! ❤️

Appreciations 5/21/19

The stunning performance we saw on Sunday! My pics didn’t turn out, but trust me, the whole event was breathtaking. Thank you Tiyumba Dance!

Ida’s deep concern and care for Luna’s bedtime comfort (as she covered Luna with a “blankerchief”)!

Grocery cart with the smoothest wheels. OMG gliding over the floors like floating on air (the cart, not me. Although wouldn’t that have been cool?!)

LILACS. Heaven.

Making progress on the Chemo Care Bingo project! (http://kck.st/2EanQEb)

My beautiful framily who have inspired me, supported me, and tolerated a LOT of moods from me this past week. 😆 Thank you darlings. 💜

My beautiful neighborhood: a morning walk in May

Oh how I appreciate my neighborhood! This morning I got to drop my car off with the mechanic I’ve worked with for 20+ years and then walk back home through a symphony of sunlight, green everything, maple flowers, petrichor, and the morning calls of song birds, construction workers and school kids. Perfect. ❤️

Appreciations! May 14, 2019

• Garden time this weekend. SO excited for our pollinator, veggie, and herb gardens in the front yard!!

• Ida! She can catch Amelia all by herself now!

• Chickens. I just love our girls so much. It’s absurd.
• First round of attic cleaning – done!
• Bird song, sunlight, those few completely perfect days in May that make it worth surviving our winters. 🙃
