Appreciations Year Three: Day 190

rainbow spreadsheetFun with spreadsheets and custom colors. πŸ˜‰

Epic FB sticker duels.

Noticing new patterns. Today I realized that every single piece of art on the walls of my office has either green or blue or both.

Green and blue.

Appreciations Year Three: Day 188

Really satisfying days of work. I love that I get to do and learn so many interesting things and feel like I’m helping people while I do it.

The balmy 30ΒΊ weather today. Well, balmy except for the freeeeeezing wind whipping around. πŸ˜‰

Clean car!!!! OMG how thrilling to finally wash the salt off my baby.

Debb & Ivan. ❀

Appreciations Year Three: Day 187

Crazy perfect timing. The furnace repair appointment got pushed back, but the meeting I had that would have kept me from being present ALSO got pushed back — so the furnace repair happened right after I got back from meeting #1 and and was completed just in time for me to make meeting #2. Perfection!

Helpful people like my awesome career counselor (yes, I need help after being out of the “real” job market for more than 2 decades!) and the super helpful furnace tech who came out and fixed the furnace so quickly!

Service Plus, which meant I didn’t have to PAY for that $900 repair. Whew!

My wonderful clients who make my work interesting and fun.

Cheryl and Jenna who wrote a song with me some 3 years ago, which, whenever it shows up on my iTunes playlist fills me with giddiness and glee. ❀

Appreciations Year Three: Day 186

Morning coffee with Debb, just like the old days. Okay, well, not exactly like the old days. Better furniture. πŸ˜‰

Getting ALL my mom’s Tupperware and other kitchen stuff organized and put away at the new house. Even better having Debb’s help and company during the process. πŸ™‚

Watching Mona Lisa Smile with David — and without having to venture out in stupidcold weather. Thanks IM and netflix. πŸ˜‰

Appreciations Year Three: Day 185

Temperatures above 15ΒΊ. Woohoo!!

Clean and reorganized laundry room (at MY house this time)! And it only took 6 hours to accomplish it… πŸ˜›

Reward for a hard day’s work — dinner and drinks with Cara and Debb. What a super fun night!! ❀

Appreciations Year Three: Day 184

Spending some quality time with Mckenzie who came out to help clean up the Eagan house (somebody had to get up on that stepladder and clean those ceiling fan blades!).

Random late-night silliness in the kitchen. It may mean I am more tired the next day, but I love those little pockets of joy and fun and will continue to soak them all up whenever they happen — reasonable bedtime be damned. πŸ˜‰

Luna behaving more or less normally — no middle of the night caterwauling!

Appreciations Year Three: Day 183

7 hours of undisturbed sleep. Practically unheard of… and SO refreshing!

Blankets, sweaters, slippers, working furnace, hot tea, purring cats, staying in.

A forecast that includes 29ΒΊ ABOVE zero. Even it if doesn’t happen, it sure is nice to dream about. πŸ˜‰
