• Zofran! Vicadin! Katie is doing so so so much better today. So is her mama.
• That, since the Korpi girls seem to be hell-bent on breaking things this week, I got off with just a broken toe. (Plus, purple and blue are my favorite colors, so the coloring is nice.)
• Getting to go to the most amazing birthday party for Toby, the imaginary cat (she’s 2) — complete with fabulous cake and hanging out with really good friends.

I appreciate:

• The really, really friendly and FUNNY nurses and docs at ER last night. They made the stressful situation so much brighter!
• That Katie broke her left wrist, not her right.
• The fact that Katie is able to be seen and treated so quickly, that the pain meds really work to get her through until the surgery, and that pretty soon her bones will be in the right places and on their way to mending!
• Also, coffee.

I appreciate:

• Friends who trust me enough to share their darker moments with me, as well as the light — and with whom I can do the same. I love these deep, wonderful relationships.
• Medium Roast Coffee!
• Sticky notes.

I appreciate:

• Almonds. They are yummy.
• Panda heart stickers to put on my invoices this month. I am SO mature. 😉
• Fresh new sharpies with nice sharp points. Fun to write with them!

I appreciate:

• My really smart and heart-centered support network. How fortunate I am to feel so supported at every turn.
• Lauren’s brilliant e. e. cummings-esque poem. It was superfantasmagical and made me smile; happygoodnessinamoment
• Coming home from Show X to find the dishes had all been done. Thank you, Katie!

I appreciate:

• Getting stuff done and having fun while doing it.
• The fun of watching the Olympics (politics aside). I’m not much of a patriot, though, since I pretty much root for whoever is skating/skiing/snowboarding.
• How fun it is to witness people blissed out, doing their thing. So awesome!
