Year 2, Day 23: migrating geese, rustling leaves, insect symphony

I appreciate sounds of all kinds. On my walk today, I especially loved the fading summer/early fall sounds:

  • Geese migrating.
  • Wind in rustling the leaves on the trees and moving the deep, sweet wind chimes at the end of the block.
  • The symphony of cicadas, crickets, birds, and airplanes, punctuated by the sound of crunching leaves beneath my feet.
