The chance to play roadie for Ellis today, and watch people light up when they heard her music for the first time – especially the woman who, when Ellis started playing Royalty to Me, stopped in her tracks, turned around and said, “Oh my god, that is beautiful,” and stood there, rapt, with her hand over her heart. 🙂
