I appreciate:

• That none of our neighbors were hurt by the downed trees.
• The chance to connect with our neighbors as we all came out to see what the storm wrought.
• How cool the city looks (so dark!) without lights.
• Um, electricity! We take it for granted and it is very noticeable to be without it!
• The fact that we bought a bunch of candles a few weeks ago!

I appreciate:

• Working with such lovely health care providers that even a day like yesterday, in which all I did was go to dr. appts, can be a wonderful day.
• Appreciations! It’s so cool to have this tool that helps me remember tiny, beautiful details of my life, like laughing with my kids in that “this is particularly funny just to US” way at a show.
• Coffee. I know, I know, I always appreciate coffee. Don’t you??

I appreciate:

• Hanging out with improv friends. I feel so lucky be part of this community of brilliant, interesting, open people.
• Circumstances lining up perfectly for a perfect day. Thank you for the lovely breakfast, Burcin Ozel!!
• Friends who greet me with hugs and kisses. I love that kind of openness!

I appreciate:

• Baby bunnies in the yard. Really tiny bunnies! (Lots of wild life in the yard without our watch dog and watch kitty….)
• Seeing a wild turkey as I got off the freeway yesterday. The wilds of Minneapolis!
• The cast of Show X for their commitment to character, incredibly quick thinking, and ability to create a lovely, absurd stories out of thin air. So inspiring!

I appreciate:

• Day 300. What a pleasing thing.
• My Dad. He’s awesome.
• My kids’ dad Patrick Boyle). He’s also awesome!

I appreciate:

• Coffee! Zoom!
• That Royal Grounds Coffee has almond AND coconut milk, as well as soy, to substitute in their drinks. Delish!
• Being able to go for walks again. Still kinda slow, but getting better.

I appreciate:

• The delicious meal Sarah brought us. That carrot salad was delicious!
• The impromptu evening with said Sarah – what a delightful turn of events!
• The new arrangement of our living room – it looks so much more homey this way.

I appreciate:

• The completion of operation living room rearrange. Phew!
• Giving away and donating stuff we no longer need. I think I’m getting addicted to this de-cluttering process.
• Popcorn. Yum.

I appreciate:

• The silver lining of things, like the free days we get this week since Pat’s white count is too low for chemo today.
• The amazing amount of stuff a person can get done during “found” time.
• My kids’ willingness to assemble the storage cabinet — and their forgiveness of how crazy that kind of task makes me!

I appreciate:

• My new business card! I’d definitely hire someone whose card looked this awesome. 😉
• The coolio HUGE hangout auction – what a fun way to raise money.  Plus, you can hang out with the cooooolest people.  You know, like me.
• My sense of humility and modesty.  Today is a shining example of my humbleness. 🙂
