I appreciate:

1. The sun coming out again. Sooooo nice to have a little sunshine again.
2. My purple scarf/sarong. The lovely Sharon gave it to me years ago. It is still one of my favorite articles of clothing ever.
3. The fact that I finally upgraded my OS (since I get all those extra hours from waking up at 5 am). Now I’m only 4 years behind the times. 😉

I appreciate:

1. My warm house.
2. The fact that I can work from my warm house.
3. The fact that I can listen to the most fabulous music while I work in my warm house.

I appreciate:

1. My car. I’m sure I’ve appreciated it before, but it really is so nice to drive a car that works well, doesn’t use much gas, and is, well, pretty. I’m just feeling especially grateful for it today!
2. Sara. It’s such a joy to get to work with someone as brilliant, dedicated, and funny as Sara. Lucky lucky lucky me!
3. Knowing that I can figure things out. Since I started my business knowing nothing about the how to build or maintain websites, and having learned about and solved numerous issues since then, I’ve learned that most “problems” can be solved, and that there’s usually some kind of “adventure” along the way. 😛 I don’t feel that way EVERY day, but enough of them so that my job is mostly fun fun fun.

I appreciate:

1. Days so filled with good things to do that I almost forget to post my appreciations. 😛
2. The absolute joy of improvising with the Urbane Gorillas & hanging out with them after rehearsal …and the yummy new drink Kathleen and I discovered at the Republic. Yummy.
3. My undying optimism which leads me to believe that maybe THIS will be the week I accomplish everything on my to-do list. Hahaha!

I appreciate:

1. The excitement of learning a new craft. There’s still so much good stuff to learn about improv!
2. The fact that the rainy-sleety-hail that was falling when I left for class had turned to beautiful big snowflakes by the time I left.
3. Getting to have all this pretty snow — and warm temperatures. 30º feels balmy!

I appreciate:

1. My hubby, who is a good sport and comes with me to improv shows – and then listens to me analyze them on the way home. 🙂
2. Saturday afternoons with no particular plans, no work I HAVE to do.
3. A clean, clean kitchen. It’s just nice.

I appreciate:

1. 3M hooks. The perfect tool for people who like to hang things up, but who change their minds a lot… 😉
2. Gmail. So easy to use and the best way to consolidate my many emails. One inbox, no waiting!
3. Pilot G-2 Ultra Fine pens. What a nice, sharp point. Perfect for tiny writing. 😛

I appreciate:

1. My dentist, who will fix my cracked tooth today. If past experience is any guide, the appointment will be quick, comfortable, and easy!
2. Other people who do jobs I would NEVER want to do, including all surgeons, most medical professionals, any jobs that require leaving the house before 7 am, dangerous jobs, boring jobs…. it’s a long list. I’m so glad there are people willing to do those things!
3. My BitWordy (like online Boggle) friends. How lovely to hang out with my wordy-nerdy friends and find lots of long words in the morning (yesterday I found cessation. That was fun!) 🙂

Today I appreciate:

1. The sound of the birds outside my window. It may be only 9º, but I know spring is coming…Ha!
2. I also appreciate the way good improv stays in my head and gives me reasons to smile at the oddest moments. The bird I’m hearing this morning is a chickadee, and it reminds me of a scene I saw (probably Show X, maybe 3 months ago) in which the characters were calling “Chickadee-dee-dee” (I think Tim started it). I don’t remember why or the details of the scene, but I remember it being super-funny and that memory is making me smile today!
3. Oh, I also appreciate clementines. So easy to peel, so delicious. 😛

I appreciate:

1. That today is one of those days when it’s easy to identify things I like and appreciate. 🙂
2. I appreciate today’s bright sunshine.
3. I appreciate hearing good news from a friend! Isn’t it amazing how just knowing about something wonderful happening for a friend can generate so much joy in your own experience? So cool. ♥
